This occured friday the day we gave our 48 hr notice on my Norton Anti VIRUS security report

IP address has disappeared from adapter NVIDIA nforce 10/100/1000 Mbps Networking Controller
and is no longer being protected (IP address: 192.168.1.3).


thats my ip address: 192.168.1.3).

this is the ip address that shows up in my security history after mine disappeared, its not mine
fe80::4120:5086:73e6:40%10).

then it disappeared with this report

MY COMPUTER IS not on a shared network its a stand alone home cpu

11 hrs later still friday

Intrusion Prevention has been enabled

It tells you when it was turned on but not when it was turned off

Durring war on monday
1 hr and 51 mins into the war after i was pretty much dead this was reported

I did some checking in the anti virus literture and the only way to turn that on and off is manually

I really don't think ic was lagging but instead we were attackers and our pax were suffering ping attacks to our ip address's thus causing lag,
i also think our ip address's were obtained thru irc chat

ive checked theses history reports for since i got this cpu and never seen these typ of reports

the attackers computer was hacked and the hackers IP address is there to see.

investigate this and stop trying to divert the topic matter.

Well im not blaming anybody, I was just trying to figure out what was causing the lag, heck i like most of your fam smile. there were some in our fam that didn't have any lag just our attackers and our pax. Anybody that looked at the war thread could have figured out that the war was to start on week 38. im just curious if that strange ip address has a home lol.

You should see if it's your own. I have an IPv4 and IPv6 address. The IPv4 is the standard xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx the v6 is all the funky stuff

Do start-run "CMD" - Type IPconfig /all and check for where it shows your IPv6 address to see

192.168.1.3 is not IP Address, that's your your computer that's connected to router. 192.168.0.y where y defines which devices you are using. Router assign y itself unless you define it yourself.

Normally, router itself is 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 (or similar like 192.168.x.1) you can type browser web site "192.168.1.1" and u will access to your router for you to configure your router.

So Matrix is correct in this one.

Also, fe80::4120:5086:73e6:4010 is MAC address and it is used to identify which device...you can find this MAC on your computer...if laptop, u can find it under the laptop
