no I have always thought about ic like that.
When ppl tell me things like:
I dont want to fight that fam cos i got friends in it its pure stupidity !
I dont want to attack this or that player cos hes my friend.
The comunity are one thing the game in the gals are a totaly different thing.
There is NO connection bewteen them.
The once who dont recognice this is stupid.
One thing to not attack your friend in a wargame that is a bit silly take 10/20%
But to kill someone down to 50 / 40% of there size etc and destroy there time playing the game? thats where it went to far and why so many leave
This is a wargame.
When someone declare on my fam I will do as much damange on the foes to gain max and force a nap for planets in the end.
This is how I have always played and this is how I will always play and if you dont like that then im very sry but i will not change my way to think or play for your sake.
I play for my enjoyment and not for yours.
lol should be fun ... this round needs a but of spice

just poining out why there are less then 10% of the people left who used to play this game and why less then 1% of new players ever stay
Why people leave:
1.with every chanvge to let non warlike players want less and less stratagies are impossible are left in the game and the game becxomes simplier and simplier until its to boring to play anymore.
2. teamplay willing people are a ever reduced type of ic players where as dictatirrunned crews seams to be more and more the think of the now wich take out all the fun of the game.
Why noobs wont stay:
1. nobody tried to teatch them no more.
2. dictatory type of leader quite often delete them rather then getting them to feel welcome.
so in conclusion:
People leave because:
Fam bank is boring for almost everyone
Game is repetitive
Being farmed by a larger family
Why new people don't stay:
Being farmed so they can't learn to play
Fam bank is boring and fams that run it will kill off people who want to learn how to play as ss or anything but twhat they want
Why Argannon has done well the last 2 rounds:
1. He's ended up in decent fams and he hasn't been allowed to lead
2. All the people who normally kill him are gone already
3. He's the legendary Argan00b!
Shall we speak some about the mighty and welknown Gondor who trembble at the risc to acctualy having to fight a war.
Hes belive it or not the most chicken leader i have ever had ! :P
BTW:
i rather play in a smaller fam with attacker teams with a nonap rule then to play in a top3 fam any day.

Because if you were banking it'd be too easy for your own family to kill you off.... 
As for being chicken... Last round we were fighting with 2 fams at a time and i didn't want to open up a third front without being able to finish off one of the other 2 fams first.
He would make a good banker though

Arganon is a good attacker with a temper. Very active and straight to the point. Sometimes over enthousiastic and spamming but always in a good manner: to provide planets for the family.
Alsso, he likes to replace the K with a C which is rather funny: "I need upceep"
People are learning from their mistakes, even Arganon. Judging someone on their noob-actions years ago wouldn't bring you far in analyzing a person, lets say a family.

Opening exchanged went ok (i didnt suicide first tick) so im happy after 6 years since i last fought a cancelation war

99 on there part also have been splattering stuff so waiting for the tick to see what happens
Yeah we didn't jump as much as we should have, you guys got the best of the first tick as far as fleet wise but I think that you and I split portal shots pretty much. Good first tick
