Topic: Hardcore crew for MW !

I might concider to play another mw round if I find some decent ppl to make a fam with.
I need four players.


These are the rules for the fam:
No naps !
Cfs for 2 days to chill down things after its lifted and if we then dont see the fam in fam news we are at peace.
no allie.
Fam bank for 2 weeks after wich we do a combined teams and fam bank where i take half the income and use it where most needed.
A 100% support by my players for me as leader!

Most likly we will use this strat:
2 pop (These need to be good at deffending and retaking)
3 cfs (I wouldnt mind if these where aggressive and hit other cfbnkers)
10 attackers (Work in 2 man attacker teams (Small/big attackerteams who dubble team all foes also aid eachother when clearing systems))
In other words 5 big attackers and 5 small attackers.


Thoes who can agree to these plans plz post and ill concider taking you on should we agree on things.

You might need resources aswell Arganon..
How you plan getting those? Buying?

Lets see big attackers get more planets then small and ob a lot more early round.
Thus major attackers replace res thus the fam can have more attackers instead of some res.

I have used opwars against fams many times and everytime i see a speciallist i lauf like mad.
As killing a food hog means the intire balance of the fam is spoiled and it takes days if not weeks to get back that balance better use attackers instead.

attackers being resourcers as well is an outdated strategy. The problem with that is you need to have all your attackers being active and aiding out constantly. So instead of having 1 or 2 active pure resourcers your gonna rely on having 10 somewhat smaller resourcers?

This also means your attackers are gonna need more planets than neccesary in order to keep up with the iron needed to build bankers. The results of which are increased morale costs and less potential targets due to size and NW.
If your going to have 2 pop bankers you really dont want your food sources coming from 10 different empires. You need a constant and steady supply of food.

the other problem you will have is keeping 10 attackers supplied with a decent amount of fleet. Keeping 10 attackers active and interested for the entire round will be a tall order. If a few of them go inactive on you thats a major dent in your resource production since they are resourcers too.

i wish you luck with this strategy. Im pretty sure its gonna fail though.

lol AA...hes probably smirking at the fact hes in a top fam now and thats why he thinks he is like the reason behind you guys behind ahead...but im very sure everyone knows the reason that your family is on top is definitely not due to him...he will just go back to drafting fail fams...with people who are more fail than him=P oh wait..there isnt=P

A good strategy is never outdated!
small attackler got half the pcount of big in that strat and the fam work in teams with half the income wich will automaticly balance income and upceep so we wont have a problem.
The attackers in a team need to make 2 times the food the bankers need.
Most will be done by the bigger attackers but some also by small once.

Nope instead I boost infra for attaclkers faster then bank strat thoes.
Wrong on that point to as I will choose attackers to get 2 guys in range of most of the players in a target fam they will reach most members and fight biggest possible foe first before taking on smaller guys.

If I let them grow all round and get decent support with fleets NO attacker will go inactive cos the game is to fun to miss out on. And should one still go inactive i would kill him at highest possible speed.

I have used it and I have never seen a fam work better then it did that round.

quite the oppostie as this strat counts on ppl with reseach bonus in race reseach 60/40 con/res it will infact make the strat even better.
Bnakers funds 60/40 eco/con meanwhile.

dude, what you gonna do with science then? you want all attackers to have 70% military bonus, 70% resource bonus, 70% conbonus, and 15 morales each attacker?

Arganon lets discuss that then, in what way does a pecialized research field for resourcers not nerf resource-attackers

Basicly it makes resourcers bankers with different race, in that they are now required to have another reearch field specialized for resoruce production, that aids them nothing in attacking

Ask Rain what happens if you have a fam organize as you describe and soneone notice it.
And decide to go opwar on you.

He can give you all the reasions in the world why i will NEVER setup a fam like that.
