Topic: What is the best spaceship?

I'd say the best fighter is the Goa'uld Deathglider. It pwned for 6000 years and going.

The best bigass cruisership I think would be the Batllestar from Battlestar Galactica. Large capacity of fighters, and huge laser gun plus turrets.

Deathstar doesn't count due to lack of manoeuvrability. But maybe it fits into an additional category of best spacestation.

DS9 is the best spacestation because it is protected by deities.  Nobody ever flew past a DS9 airshaft and threw a nuke into the power plant.

hmm for big one id say the Super star destroyed, shame the movie ruined its use since all you seem to need is a suicidal pilot and the gravitational pull off a small moon
so lets go with A borg Cube as big one

And, meh what the heck, for the small one ill go with the ship from Space Invaders! I mean, that thing sure as well killed some enemy's

I think Andromeda is the best space ship because it has perfect AI and bombs that make suns go supernova.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

BSG is clearly a capital/carrier ship and not a measly cruiser X( X(

the Dune highliners do win on shear badassness though... I mean having a completely deformed completely stoned drug addict at the helm of a ship so big it can transport scores of also quite big ships has got to be off the charts in terms of shear badassery

I think Commander Keen's spaceship is the best. It doesn't require a team of highly educated engineers to maintain it and it can be fixed with everyday objects like a vacuum cleaner etc.

You guys have got it all wrong....

Best capitol/cruiser is the SDF-1 from the Macross series. It has a spacefold drive which is faster than a FTL drive (hyperspace drive in Star Wars) It has a city built into it. It can transform into a robot and has 100's of weapon systems. It also has the 'Reflex Cannon" which obliterates anything in its path.

Best fighter sized ship is the Veritech Fighters also from Macross. They can transform into Battloid and Gaurdian mode for versatility. They can fly in a vacuum and in an atmosphere. It is fueled by Protoculture which creates an instant link between man and machine. They have great firepower and can be augmented further with extra armor and weaponry.
