as a general rule of thumb the cancelling family should be responsible for figuring out the exact tick the NAP expires. Both familys should discuss this time to make sure there is no doubt about when the war begins. Sending a message that states you are cancelling the NAP isnt enough. Your basicly leaving it up to the other family to determine when the NAP expires and guess what? It leads to this! lol

85 didnt specify as to which tick the NAP expired. We struck when we thought the NAP expired. We didnt do it out of malice or intent to be dishonorable. Shit happens tongue

Anyways....this isnt much of a war really. There wasnt alot of shares and a few planets have been lost. It seems to be mostly an operation war at this point.

Miss-communication between fams for the cancel time. I blame Ed... tongue IC Death did stop when we told him about the confusion (granted it was 400k dead figs later.... tongue ) and then we started up the tick after.

At least it's two top fams doing some fighting instead of farming some poor smaller fam (for the time being anyway... tongue)

Its VERY odd how often these "mistakes" happens and more so with some ppl involved then others !:S
Might they sometimes NOT be mistakes at all but pretend they where afterwards not to be seen as a cowardly acts perhaps ? :S

Well the guilty party have triggerd me allout mode so I have this to days to IC DEATH:
mistake or no mistake I will hurt your fam plentyfull before these 2 weeks are over man.

Nothing shady went on. Some of ya are paranoid goofballs. The tick the NAP ended was posted on our HQ Leader message for 2 days. The early strike didnt cost 85 the war nor did it win it for us. Dont make a bigger deal out of this than it really is.

FYI: IC Death is a decent player and a good friend of mine. His reputation is blown out of proportion. Nobody in this game is perfect. We all make mistakes. Yea he deleted a few times but i know dozens of good reputable players who have deleted on occasion, including myself. Everytime ive played with him he has played with honor, remained active and always puts his family before himself. Cut the dude some slack.
