I might also add that normally you would have 1 vs 6 and 2 vs 5, the top seed is always meant to get the lowest seed tongue

its not smart seeding at this stage... if you think about it if the hated pair up with the not so hated....

its kinda obvious lol seeding should of happend earlier rounds

haha Nolio great idea this competition, congrats, but now, most people is losing perspective. my prediction is Darkmason will win, but really, is he an epic fail? no, he can't be, since he's a very recent player. Ok he's a noob and spammer (I cannot forget those pics he does claiming what's his supoosed core), but there are many people who deserved to win this competition thru the years (I wont say names, you all know).
I mean, you all should vote for 'epic fails' thru IC history, not for recent fails, it is not fair that a rookie takes an ubern00blet tag when people like Mizzle (as example) is claiming it for years tongue

The seeding was done fine. The people who were going to win were going to win. I put up the first round based on the order they were selected. From there I randomized. And then I seeded the top 8 based on how many votes they received compared to their opponents. This allowed me to give a fair seeding. Otherwise it would've been biased and from my own opinion which is what I didn't want. That's also why I haven't voted. I don't want my opinion to influence this at all.

I don't neccesarily agree with DM making it this far over some other failures like Arganon and IC Death and Monkeywrench but as I stated, not my opinion. This is the community's choice and not all have the memories of old IC. So unfortunately some guys missed out, but it also allowed new noobs to shine. And such is the way things work, out with the old in with the new. Which is why this is Failcup 2010 and not Failcup of All Time.

And without furthur ado, here are the results:


(1) Darkmason vs. (5) Einstein

In an stunning upset, Darkmason eliminates Flint from competition in a 21 - 12 victory. I'm amazed that Flint didn't go all the way to the finals at least but alas, sometimes even the failest of them all get dethroned. This is such a case. Flint will however get a chance to compete for third place in the failcup out of the victor of Undeath and BC Cougar. Congratulations to Darkmason for making the finals.



(2) BC Cougar vs. (6) Undeath


BC Cougar handled Undeath with absolutely no problems proving that sometimes the best strat, is the failest strat. In a 26 - 7 landslide victory, BC Cougar will go head to head with the juggernaut, Darkmason in a battle for failcup champion 2010.
