Topic: Modern Physics for a layman

http://newpackettech.com/Resources/Susskind/Susskind.htm

it is a list of courses tought at Stanford University for people interested in deeper understanding of morden physics.
It involves some mathematics but is explained in such a way so that everyone can understand it (e.g. lecture 3 on general relativity introduces tensors and co- and contra-variant coordinates in an easy to understand way)

Re: Modern Physics for a layman

ps you nub, why would we consider linking to a list of free informational videos advertising?

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

Re: Modern Physics for a layman

because its advertising?   someone provided a link to a free game they made, closed for advertising. link to free video is advertising as well...  although understandably i would see why one you would be more concerned with editing then the other.

Theres nothing on that site to help build a bomb

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.
