Eve online offers a free 14 [or 21 day on Steam] trial version. Signed up again yesterday and it's as fun as it was back in January. Kinda hopng to get Tech 2 drones and then do some light Yarrr.
I'm only interested in Waaaghs:p.
I've played eve and wished I had the money to keep doing so. But I wont torment myself by joining up and then losing my awsommo ship after the 14 days.

I just had to cancel my subscription for now because I'm moving so I won't have the time to be able to play for a bit. But once I'm settled in the new house I'm gunna renew my subscription. My Character name is Alceh! I've started low-sec exploring with one of my friends and I'm training for a recon ship right now. If you are serious about playing beyond the free trial, my corp needs some fresh blood and I'd love it if you would join up!
I just got done with my 14 day free trial was able to get up to battle cruiser in that time I'm just not sure if i should subscribe or not its pretty boring now that my rl friend doesn't play anymore.
How long will my character last without any activity?

Steam offers a 21 day trial. With a bit of luck [ and lots of time] you could make it to the ~150 mill ISK to pay ISK for GTC time codes and get another 30 days. After that it should be easy to save for ~300-400 mill ISK to pay for a 90 day time code. I'm probably going to pay for a 30 day regular and then switch over to ISK for timecodes. I should have used steam but like my new character too much to be bothered to start over, I was bored one day and just did the regular 14 day and now am on day five and pushing nearly 1 mill sp [~100K per day and growing withe learning and implants 
Think I'm gonna go for slave implants gotta love the armor bonus]. I am Gellente and started with drones V :d so my scout drones do all of the dmg for me taking out cruiser sized NPCs in my small frigate. Oh and Waaaghs rock. The Imperium will be overrun by Orcs soon or enlightened bu the Tau and by enlightened I mean irradicated slowly through selective [total] infertility "treatment".

See above. I did my first trial in January but was addicted. I spent some time in rehab and believe I can probably maintain a "reasonable" playing time now so I'll probably stick around. Money was never the issue and with ISK traiding now it'll be even easier. I found a corp, [applied yesterday] if it doesn't work out or either way lemme know when you rejoin. I was half hoping to redo what the Goons did [with somethingaweful] and have an IC corp. Or just a bunch of IC noobs on trial accounts wouldn't have mattered much to me. But yeah, when you comeback post on IC and I'll let u know if I wanna switch out. Maybe between the two of us we could convince a few more to try the game.
Doop, yeah Eve is boring alone, for me atleast. Some people seem to manage alone but one of my major draws to the game is the player interaction. I mean, a real player driven economy... I read on the forums you character should be around for atleast 6 months. Then they *may delete it.
I really wish I was still playing, my friend emailed me to see what was up and he told me that he had found a huge gnesiss field, he estimated it had about 400 mil isk worth of ore in it 
I've been trying to bug some of the lemmings into playing but they won't They game isn't that boring playing by yourself if you have people to talk to and high enough faction standings though yeah, the game is so much more intense and enjoyable when you are playing with atleast one other person.
I'll be playing again in 15 days top as thats when Minmatar Cruiser V finishes XD I'll also have gone past 11 mil SP, yay \o/. Two programs that I would highly suggest you google are EFT(EvE Fitting Tool) and EVEMon if you don't already them. EVEMon allows you to keep track of what skill you are training and is able to create skill plans based on ships/mods/skill paths you want to follow. EFT is pretty self explainatory, it allows you to create your character and load your skills to be able to test fits for different ships and then look at their DPS graphs, it's a really cool program. I once spent like 4 hours on it messing around with fits for my Hurricane and Maelstrom

though a little bitch cleared out one of my corp's hangars while I was gone.
