How is it possible that a politician with such a record gets so many political power? And more over, how can it be that a party that openly condemns racism closes there eyes for his most infamous racist quotes?
Lets not wish him something till the second page. 
Cause silencing him always brings up the censorship discussion. And there are always enough idiots around to support extreme racist ideas; Look at the relatively large numbers of neonazi's, how many people vote for the Flemish VB out of racism, how much respect Wilders gets from racists (not all his voters are racist though), etc..

I have always wondered about byrd..i mean, why was he a democrat...and why did the democrats allow him in the party.
Personally I think the democrats lost more votes by having him in the party than they gained by it.

I voted on Wilders.
Not because im a racist, or not in so that term anyway.
I have friends who are outform, i worked with them and i liked them.
Reason why i voted on Wilders is because so much crime is commited by these people, specialy Marrokanen (dont know the english word for them, but people from maroco)
And black people from a country i dont remmember the name of on this moment. Also polish people are becomming a bigger annoyance. They steal, robe, murder and for what? a few bucks.
I disgust these people, they should be hanged in public. FEAR is the awnser to stop crime. The dutch jails are a joke, they look more like a 4 star hotel. The dutch punishments are even a bigger joke.
I get this information mostly from TV programmas, but also in real life i have been harrased by them when i was just walking on the street minding my own business.
They are always in groups, never alone. Always ride in a Mercedies, Volkswagen golf, Audi or BMW.
There are alot of people who are kind and gentle, but these disguisting people are ruining my view on these people.
When was the last time you saw a Chinese guy robbing someone? or comit any crime at all?
I never hear anything about them.
To bad i dont have super powers or i would change into a custome and kill them myself.
World is a much better place without these scumbags. And im sure alot of people agree with me on that.

West Virginia is a quiet, unchanging backwater that gets the same 2 senators as NY and CA. Byrd only came up for re-election every six years.
He chose the branch of govt that rewards people for time served and for party loyalty. He never tried to shove into the top positions or destroy the party. He voted whatever the party called for at the time, except for serving West Virginia economic interests like coal, and he just wanted lots and lots of money for roads and federal buildings and dams and other govt projects. Everybody knows West Virginia is too poor to do it on its own, so it has the aspect of national greatness: LBJ putting through electricity to the boondocks, etc.
when you have 32 other elections to worry about and finance, why derail a safe one?
plus: the democratic party is not against racism. It is against white supremacy, and he atoned by backing quotas when called on. in that arena his KKK membership HELPED: "Look Republicans oppose this, -I- say I no longer agree with them. " lying , because color blind isn't white supremacy.

OK he comes from a very small, unchanging region.
He is a stalwart to his party.
It is cheaper to keep him in place, where he does no damage, than risk trying to unseat him and gamble on his replacement.
His image as a "repentant white supremacist bigot" gave the Democrats cover for their racialist, "balkanized" race policy. He would come out and ask Republicans to stop being bigots and accept race-based politics.

Yes - It's the culture, and not the physiological nomenclature that determines such notions.
- I do however find it quite counter-productive, that majority of black-politicians seek to gain power through abuse of legislations *Which exist to help out those blacks affected by their culture* in order to achieve their own agendas.
I've always felt that if the Black community of America ever wants to be taken seriously, they need to stop boycotting or harassing people/corporations/politicians who do not conform to their power thirst, they need to steer away from pop culture that pushes them to be violent, and for the love of god, stop thinking they are the only race in the history of humanity to experience suffering, by-the-by anyone with a history book knows that blacks in comparison to other races fared quite well, but if they continue to use that as an excuse to push forward with political agendas, THEY THEMSELVES are reminded the world that they can't grow up, and progress.
If people like Jesse Jackson can organize huge boycotts on Banks that won't approve loans to blacks (Who can't afford them), stopped doing that crap, and instead went off, and educated the young black community - on how to be able to afford said loans, or over-come the purpose of such red-tape then perhaps they would be respected more.
As for Byrd, i don't like racists, i understand how -racial cultural methodologies- can be a center-factor in politics, i'm also from the south, and i know that there isn't many people down here that are not closet racists, so i think in truth given the opportunity to objectively rationalize it, allot of people will vote in favor of racism, it's the sad truth of a situation only made worse by the handling of it by the very victims of it, at this point they have lost my sympathy.

a ponzi scheme is named after Charles Ponzi. He actaully meant it to be honest. Some deal with Italian postage stamps. Anyway he couldn't get enough money to pay people back by selling the actual stamps; he had to pay off his investors with the money given by new recruits. Eventually he couldnt' recruit enough investors and the payments stopped, and he was arrested for fraud.
Any swindle where the mastermind plans on paying the first investors with funds from later victims, and eventually running out on everybody, is called a Ponzi scheme.
My joke is that i announce its a ponzi scheme but ask people to invest anyhow, because they'll be paid by later victims. If you put money early into a Ponzi scheme you can double your money. Most people turn around and dump all their earnings back in, so they get totally suckered. My scam --er my joke-- is to use people's greed and corruption against them by pretending they are smart enough to get away with it.
It would probably work, if I had some special angle to work. Charles Ponzi was an Italian immigrant who sought investors from Italian Americans. If I had Americans in some foriegn city or some other special bond to abuse, it could work out. Maybe former fmods...hmm...
