I disagree that cameras should be used for offsides because the number of offsides that happen in a match would result in a lot of referrals to the video and would cause a lot of hold up and break up the flow of a match. You also wouldn't be able to reinstate a goal disallowed for offside because the whistle would already have gone or the flag would already be up before the ball went in. What happens if the goalkeeper sees the flag go up so "stops playing" the attacker puts it past him and then appeals the offside? You would only be able to disallow goals which were wrongfully allowed. It also goes down a road which leads to a mess and is hard to get back from. If an attacker is wrongly called offside and the other team eventually score from the resulting freekick, should that be allowed?
Goal line video yes, at least in major championships. All other use of video no because it slows down the game too much.
And no, refereeing isn't usually THIS bad.

the refereeing is bad because they don't choose the best refs, they choose refs from small countries
new zealand has 2, guatemala has 2... i mean, they don't even have professional leagues, how can their refs be any good.

of the goals that should of counted or shouldnt of counted; how many of them would of been fixed with goal side technology? 1... if its accepted that good goals will be disallowed by easy mistakes by refs, i dont see how you can demand goal side technoloy; and if you dont accept that good goals will be disallowed by easy mistakes by refs, i dont see how you can say that technology isnt needed to assist in offsides rulings...
sitting duck, the obvious thing with offsides would be the linemen are no longer the callers of offsides and there is an additional referee or two connected via headset to the others and they are at a computer watching the game and can use technology to make the calls, with obvious offsides it would add no time; and with less obvious calls, the play goes on for an extra 5 secs maybe before a call is made...
yes in Baseball a line umpire can make a call but they'll refer to other umpires to confirm it.

not really disruptive, you could for example use the tennis hawkeye system where they only allow the players/teams to contest 2 referee decisions. so that's 4 times a couple of seconds delay max per match
somehow when debating the use of technology in football the opponents of it keep being able to pretend as if there's no middle way between using it all the time and never using it
