hmmm, so Primo said the US would need lots of luck to get the top slot over England in their group...... Whats the consensus? was the US very lucky? i think that overall so far the US was much unluckier then they were lucky...
US was very lucky in the sense that England eliminated themselves for first place. They have a really good chance of getting to the quarter final too now though, as Ghana is not very good either.
i dont think you can look at the English performance in the world cup and blame it on bad luck for them; the way the english played was a reflection of the state of their team, and were not flukes.
i didnt say they were unlucky, did i?
also, i'd like to pay my respect to new zealand, they don't have a professional league, but they remained undefeated. Well done!

the US does have a decent chance of beating Ghana and making it to the quarter-finals; and if they do, their chances arent even that bad to get to the semi-finals.... winning the semi is probably going to require a miracle though... probably would face either brazil, netherlands, or possibly even portugal there.
