What the state done was to create *alot* more enemies. Staying in Iraq is the obvious thing to do...Leaving a country like that in ruins and ready to be overrun by extremists is a tad irresponsible.

No, but where there are terrorists there are terrorist organizations. Those organizations have their own intelligence networks -- and which is why we have 'incidents' such as the 9/11 attacks. Not to mention the fact that there are innocent Iraqis that could be hurt...

I doubt it too. But it happened, and he took credit (Or at least it was passed to him), so i don't see any difference his real taking in it would make. Are we talking about Iraq or Afghanistan here? There was no Al Qaeda in Iraq before the U.S. led invasion. Afghanistan needs to be 'fixed', and Iran needs to be involved in fixing it...Either that or someone needs to build a 15m concrete wall between Iran/Afghanistan...

1. To stop terrorists taking control of the country.
2. To remove WMDs (:S).
3. To 'rid the world of terrorism'.
4. It is a good staging ground for Iran, since Turkey wont let Americans use Turkish land to attack Iran .
5. ...Other reasons? How about trying to bring stability to a country being ruled by the capitalistic greed of a tyrannical ruler?
6. How about the U.S. has a responsibility to fix Iraq. It owes the Iraqi people that much at least...

4) bred more terrorrists -- because what happens when you grow up in a country with a highly looked down upon army, the older iraqis HATE the americans, and they fuel the younger iraqis growing up, and those kids grow up to be terrorrists to get revenge for their moms death, or dads death or their uncle or aunt... even if american troops didn't kill them, they will still think that
5) there are no WMD's there never were, this war is for oil, oil oil oil...simply oil
6) yeah US gotta help iraqis stablize again, cuz they screwed them over in the first place , but how's that possible if you're still in iraq, killing more innocent people, and breeding more terrorrists..they're just worsening a situation that was already bad
