Topic: Bring back the 90s!!

Seriously!

Best decade -ever-

What do you miss/remember from the 90s?


We can even go into the late 80s.


I miss -real- music on the radio.

I miss music videos on MTV

I miss there only being 1 MTV station

I miss Voltron! Defender of the UNIVERSE!

I miss G-Force

I remember when music lyrics were actually singing, and not being used by an Auto-tuner, i also remember when Mariah carey could actually sing, wasn't a psycho, or a pedophile --

I remember Slap Bracelets, Yo-yos, and Micro-Machines being the shit, coolest toys ever , He-Man, GI Joe

Omg i can go on all night long -- What do you miss about the 90s? Anything?


I'm only 24, and i remember making fun of people when i was growing up that would insult my Generations culture, but now i find myself doing the same thing with today's youth, i listen to songs recorded back in the 90s, and i'm like "Damn, that such better music, what the hell happened?" -- Or i dare peak at today's Cartoons, and i'm confused, and disgusted.

I miss when the Disney channel was not on basic cable, and it showed DISNEY Cartoons, and not any of this teen drama shit.

The 90's produced great music, but it was a small fraction compared to the incredible amount of trash that was produced. Some examples: Venga Boys, Los Del Rio, The Cartoons, Aqua, Fiocco, Sash, DJ Visage, Captain Jack, 2 Brothers On The 4th Floor, DJ Quicksilver, Lighthouse Family, Sin With Sebastian and that's just the tip of the iceberg..

I agree the nineties were awesome as a kid though (I have the same age as you).

90's were indeed awesome.

I looooooved the cartoons back then and completely agree with that the current generation of children's cartoons are absolute crap. I missed waking up at 6am before everyone else woke up, sneaking down to the TV to watch the cartoons quietly trying not to wake anyone. tongue These days I go to bed at 6am..

yeah cartoons today are total crap, they're not even draw well.   There' s nothing out there as good as Thundercats or G Force.  And Robotech makes Caprica look like a bad soap.

Yeah, seriously what is with todays cartoons? Naruto Shippuden isn't bad - But thats Japanese, and really doesn't count --- You can't compare cartoons from the 90s to now, like Swat Cats, Gargoyles....

SNES - Sega Genesis -



Who remembers the 3DO System? Or the TubroGraphx systems? They used CD-ROMs and were at 16x2-bit (32 bit) game play a full decade before the playstation launched.

Oh vintage video games >.>

4th Generation consoles were def the best.

@Chris the first couple of seasons/games, when they weren't all fluffy and it was still actually fun to watch. (maybe me being about 6 helped too :\)
