I was really hoping to have a small family this round... I find it to make the game much more interesting if the families all have different sizes. A friend and I even drafted ourselves into a small family just so we could be there together.

Now, if they drop 8 families, not only will both of us go into larger families but we'll likely be in different families. Even worse, it's likely that those families draft spots have already been used so there won't be any chance of us even playing together this round.

My vote still goes very strongly with leaving the round as it is and just postponing the start time by a few days. Being a three day weekend and all I anticipate a lot of people to be joining the galaxy on Tuesday/Wednesday.

i say merge the bottom 8 fams n delay start 3 days

close down 8 families(thaugh i think it's best to waith 2-3 more days to start the galaxy)

close down the bottom 8 and re random them into the other fams

i got a question.

there are families with 11/12 members and families with 3/4 members.
why doesn't the system even these?

if the system even this then mergeing and lowering the family number aint needed as all families will have an even or 1 more member.
overtime more people might join the galaxy and the families will still be even player count wise.
