Topic: Swedish health care system

Hello ppl, i ve have to give a little speech on the organisation of the healthcare system in sweden.
I ve already started working on it, but i d be much obliged if ppl would like to put in their 2 cents ( i said 2, not 200, this is not sparta)
Swedish healthcare is said to be rated amongst the top in europe, i dunno bout it s position outside of europe smile

-do you happen to know about it tongue ?
-why do you (dis) like it?
-got any interesting statistics for me? (with source, lol)
-what is the key to their success? what makes it work so well?
-do you even think it works that well tongue?
-how would their system be of use in a lrager/smaller country?

- Yes
- Its available to all in need, regardless of financial status at any time
- Yes
- It works with the least amount of failure. Its controlled by a govnerment concerned more about peoples health, rather than peoples wallets.
- Yes. If you can look past "long" waiting time its friggin purrfect.
- That honestly depends on how that particular country runs their shit. If the country is ran with a fambank it could do damn well. If its mostly SSers it prolly wouldnt do much good.

Cause she won't get any answers there. There would be comments on how evil state funded health care is, and then Flint would drag Obama into it and it degrades into just another thread on how bad any leftist-ish idea is. And they'd ignore decent arguments and proof in the process. tongue

Flint, you have no idea what you're talking about. Perhaps the idea of Sweden as the ultimate sex-country got stuck in your tiny corner of your country, but it's not true. In fact prostitution is forbidden in Sweden, but only the customer can get arrested.

I read an article where a nurse was asked to give a bj, she refused however, and the union is asking for formal rules protecting the nurses from being made to give bjs. Apparently however everyone notes that it was legal for the guy to ask, and also legal for the nurse to say no... but there seems to be that and she could have said yes thing there to... tongue

We actually got alot of swedes comming to Denmark because prostitution is legal in Denmark (and animal sex for some weird reasons)
