------- Family Networth Attacking Limit -------

In light of trying to curtail some of the large scale 'farming' that goes on, we have implemented a limit to which families you are able to attack.  We definitely know this doesn't stop farming nor some of the other issues - but it's definitely a step forward!

As of this round, if the family you are targetting has a total networth less than that of 35% of your family's total networth, then you will NOT be able to attack them.

This rule will work independently of the current existing 35% player rule (but works on the same basis).

Like the Partaxian change, we believe this will bring some interesting changes and set up some challenging scenarios, but we do feel some interesting play could result, while looking after the players who have a different playstyle.

Note:  Just like in the player rule, if the family attacks a bigger family (greater than the 35% limit), then the little family opens themselves up to attacks for 72 hours.

This rule is in effect as of now.

You could rape smaller fams without the big people all up in your case

This rule should really have a delayed start in the round though imo.  Too easy to abuse this and have friends join a small family, expo into a big families core and then ravage unportalleds with no chance at stopping them.

Also LOL, this rule just single handedly made Tymo the worst attacker in the game, even below artic.

The idea to stop the farming is good but I bet that it will make bigger problems than it solves:

another exemple: 2 fams cancel nap, 1 jump, the other kills fleet to the minimum. The first one pays upkeep and wasted all his saves when the other is safe and continues to save for when the other can

You could do your second example by going into v-mode already (if it was planned)

You are against this change as if this new rule was going to allow bigger families to rape smaller families. In fact this change will drastically reduce the number of small families raped by big families. There are limited numbers of VIPs. There are even fewer VIPs who aren't playing a round and could join a small family for you. Then convincing that person who doesn't even have time to play a round to join for you and attack you so you can rape that small family would be very very difficult.

Interesting idea! Only thing is smaller fams pissig you off, you can no longer hit hard! haha. But should be an improvement for everyone. Better wars as a result for sure.

Like the idea. Think it should have been done on a sliding nw scale though much like planets for attacking pvp. So a fam at 35% nw of urs u could only hit about 5 times before u had no morale. Would stop farming but still allow core cleaning when absolutely neccessary. Then if they hit u first sliding nw rule gets removed for 72 hours so small fams cant abuse.

this game change is awful. when you have a war you may end up with many blow ups and they end up being explored by smaller fams. then of course you cannot take them off the smaller fams and you have lost a part of your core.

i hope this gets changed back

As for the 35% rule gone as well, i disagree I like the strategy's that it brings along.

IE passing planets to a small player to hold during war, or planting a small guy in a core. Those are fun strategy's!

As for blow ups being expoed by smaller familys, Don't blow them up! Slackers. OR after war drop your war fleet and kill them lol.
