only like $3mil and a cup for our museum.

its not the actual cup that matters, its the fact our youth and reserve team beat full strength porto and juventus teams, we can put this on our CV so to speak.... and sign some better players.

....i have nothing against Villa in fact i am a fan of your manager and his astute signings but until you win the league/champions league at least once you are a "non-descript"....you should be happier you are considered to be in the top 7 teams!

we had psv winning something like this not so long ago, but I can't really say they were any good rest of season.

arsenal don't have the fire power to stay in top four anymore. i think they will slip out and then its between three teams to go in. tottenham, man city or villa.

Well spurs are getting back on track with harry. Man city are obviously a contender with all of the spending power. But i do think Villa deserve it the most they have a very good manager who has made a great team with limited resources

....i think man city can be ruled out this season (it takes a while for a new team to gel together and soooooo many language barriers on the pitch!), Harry Redknapp is a great manager able to do lots with nothing my only concern is the team he has inherited, i agree with Frenzy Villa DO deserve to be a bigger team than they are but unfortunately if they don't win anything (worthwile) then their best player (s) will go to the bigger teams and/or european teams

I DONT AGREE! lol arsenal have rosicky, asharvin, nasri, fabregas, RVP. they are all potential match winners. also wach out for our new talent in jack wilshere.

yeah thats why we put out our youth/2nd team - unlike real madrid and juve who put out full league teams.

history proves that it is always hard for the sub top to really go with the win in the competition.  Nothing against anyone, but in the Dutch league it took AZ some real hard struggle to finally get that that win. First to compete with the top, then being the top and failing in the end (pressure whatnot) and after that they finally pulled through.

And on top of that the other top teams all played less then they used too.. it is hard to get there but its granted for any team trying and it would be nice if one would succeed. smile
