actually, I did know! fmods can see the "number of posts" wich are actually your tagpoints..

You can gain a tag by making good posts.
A post is considered good when it is helpful to others or serves another goal. They are mainly written in the Questions, Bugs and Strategy forums.
The awarding of tags is up to the judgement of the moderators and forum moderators.

You can also gain points by referrals.
Be sure that the person who referred you has been playing for over a week though, else the points won't be added to your account. Also make sure the person fills in your email address in the referral bit while signing up smile
Each referral gives 4 tag points.

Make sure you're logged into your account and access the forums from within your account (HQ > Forums) to have your tag under every post.

Note: the so-called "negative" tags can NOT be acquired by showing negative behaviour. Rather start a good thread in the Roleplay forum or somewhere else and you might get the honour wink. Spamming, cussing etc will be rewarded with blocking of the account.

Bringing new players to the game, helping people in questions/ideas/bugs or even making a real fun and stimulating thread could get you tagpoints.

Nope, otherwise I wouldn't have my current tag when they removed my forum mod tag. They just add an "option" to your account, and the specific tag "overwrites" your current one, wich happens with the "ICPG champion"-tag as well (but in that case, there are no extra options to come with the tag).
