Well some of the anomalies in normal media-friendly global warming theory seem to chronologically tie in with solar events quite conveniantly smile And being British myself, I wouldn't trust the BBC as far as I could throw them, although their interenet news is better than other UK news providers.

ARFeh, don't refer to him as "Einstien". It only encourages the inflated sense of self-worth he holds about himself.

As for the article, we've known this for years. The sun has been giving off radiation at almost the same level for thousands of years. The drastic spike in climate change has only been happening these past few hundred, sense the industrial revolution.

They didn't, they left that job to the polar icecaps, and certain rock sediments. You'd be amazed a how much crap the dirt under your feet absorbs.

ICE AGE happened 'not long' ago before man even existed so i am pretty sure the other celestial bodies such as the sun have a big effect on earth and its climate.

I have little to no faith in todays news media.  Especially when it has to do with the frenzy surrounding climate change.

Did you know that in the 1970s people thought that the world was going to enter a new Ice Age?!  They thought they had evidence of this as well.  In fact the temperature had been falling sense the 1940s

A nine year climate cycle?? try again

You might, maybe, be able to measure the amount of ionized gases in frozen atmosphere.   But if solar energy is converted into heat, there's not going to be a whole lot of fossil evidence of it.

Global climate records aren't comprehensive enough to be a good predictor.  Period.
