Just watched it I have to say low budget and very bad acting. The destruction scenes were more like the begaining of the attack and then it moved on. You were interested on how they were gonna stop the octopus and mega shark. 

So it did have some interest ,but was quite a bit over the top. I could see the us gov't acting like that though.
