Apparently, there are rumors going around of there having spawned some piranhas in some galaxies of the IC Universe.

This thread is an attempt to describe the piranhas which have spawned, so they are not hated nor misunderstood.  This thread will be an attempt to clarify what piranhas are exactly, how they hunt, what they eat, and other interesting facts about them.  It is hoped, by learning more about the piranhas, you won't hate or fear them so much.  Who knows, maybe in coming to understand the piranhas, you might even think it might be nice to become one, at least, perhaps, just for a little while.

Part A  -  How they attack and what they eat:

1.  When attacking in groups they usually attack big fish that have been eating little piranhas.  However,  they tend to attack big fish that try and eat little fish of other species, too.  It is thought sometimes piranhas mistake these other species of little fish as baby piranhas.  Silly piranhas! Hehe.

2.  When attacking alone, they almost always only attack larger fish.   Sometimes they also attack larger piranhas, but don't usually eat them.  That's not a very natural thing for piranhas to do. Cannibalism among piranhas is very rare indeed.

3.  Strangely enough, piranhas almost never eat littler fish.   They will tend hold them in their mouths, but not eat them.  It is thought that in this situation, the piranhas think the littler fish is just one of their baby piranhas.  In the rare event that a piranha accidentally swallows and eats a littler fish, other piranhas tend to attack and eat that piranha as punishment for killing a baby piranha!
