Discuss please... (and dont get technical you know what i mean, going from several thousand players to what we currently have..)

Or more exactly, Stefan's disinterest in updating the game. First there was a promise of IC2, never happend. Then IC3, won't happen. These latest updates are nice though. And Thank you stefan for removing unused galaxies from the rankings page!

I remember back in the day when this was discussed.

It lead to stefan not giving a crap, n00bs leaving the game because of obsessed pricks in PW who can't make it in Andro and Tri, and the fact that these types of games are a dying breed.

There were also some other things but i can't remember.

Bottom line, this game is getting on up there in age and is dropping substantially in popularity (or at least it was when i left, i still don't play, just check the forums now cuz i missed yall...but it seems that yall left a while back tongue)

drafting started it. then the simple fact that the original group of players grew up and have real lives now (or play wow)

than wow came around, along with the 360 and other online boosted consoles

then the new age of players who do nothing but whine and pointlessly spam the forums came about and irritated the majority of the older players who remember what it was like when uni news was only 10% people moaning (id put it at about 90% now)

Yep, pretty much. I wouldn't even say its the "downfall" of IC as opposed to a stunted growth.

Atm, IC is more or less the same as it has been 8 years ago. Which is good and bad. Ppl can always come back and play this game and adapt easily but we don't have video graphics and such to compete with those other games like wow, runescape, etc. etc. But we're a free game so it doesn't really matter that much. If the admin was a bit more active in updating things then it'd be cool but what you see is what you get.
