alright, so I'm having slight problems. I know enough information to know that my problem is related to the 3 rings of death (I believe it was dubbed that) anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to fix it
that is, short of sending it to Microsoft?
If I have to I will, but I'd rather not spend much money if possible

well shouldnt there be a warranty?
also i heard of this one thing called the towel trick for the 360... though i didnt want to try it lol
same here, I ended up calling the hotline and since it was the 3 ring thing, I get a 3 year extended warranty 
ya all of them should have the 3 year warranty thing... unfortunately the same thing happened to me but its been past three years... i'll call then sometime soon and even if they make me pay to get it fixed as long as its under 200 then its ok... if not then i'm gonna buy an 360 arcade version and just put my hdd on it lol
i once had 3 rings aswell, you can order a repair thing online on www.xbox.com >service > broken xbox or something. I also got a free month of xbox live gold.
Fable II is indeed something you might want to try, but I'll wait for a Pc version, or it's not worth it (for me at least)..
