Not really.
I consider this spam, and closed.
Topic reopened becasue I presume the silly Barack Obama attack memos haven't reached Belgium
the Republican National Committee bought Palin $150,000 worth of new clothes when she came on the ticket
the party says it will donate the clothes to charity after the election
this is outrageous to the party that bought $5000 pearl-and-gold eagle brooches to show support for Hillary
so yes this is silleh
but it is the standard of the Politics of Change, to bring up the same crap they did 20 years ago with the $150K convention carpet
so it is not spam
i think alot of things havent reached belgium
, i guess it also shows (not them getting caught out) is that candidates need to look good in order to win. god forbid it was ever about policy
I doubt people would vote a guy/girl who looked like a bum for office ![]()
However, knowing that millions of people live on less that 1 dollar a day, this is outrageous.
And on a more realistic level, there's an economic crisis going on. How stupid can you get ![]()
"However, knowing that millions of people live on less that 1 dollar a day, this is outrageous."
Hey, he's Obama's brother, let Obama do the right thing and leave others alone, you know?
I expect to hear more that guy when Obama wins
"Help me, Brother President, I am a prisoner of El Koda--uh, Al Kaida, I need--one--thousnad--million dollars--in cash by Thursday--uh--whenever you can get it--uh excuse me--
guys this is for real quick jerking around and hold the camera steady
ok lemme know when we're live
oh
well edit this part out ok in five
Help me or they will shoot me and--uh--cut my head off--first--so pay up bye!"
its not really a huge deal about her clothes, but I think it kinda goes against the campaign theme.
They're supposed to be conservatives slashing and cutting wherever possible and are advertising Palin as a "Hometown, have a couple beers, down to earth girl." But they are dressing her up in designer clothing =p
I mean, its like whatever with that, the clothes don't make the person. But could she not look just as good with clothes from an outlet store? =/
and does charity really need designer clothing? =/
Politicans are idiots

I'm sure there are some naughty Americans out there who will pay a boatload for her designer panties...unwashed, of course.
She's damned if she does, damned if she doesn't. As liberal as the media is, if it's a conservative woman running, they'll still talk about her clothes and appearance as much as about her politics. Don't any of you see the rest of the news other than this story? ![]()
lol You're talking about a world where ppl are googling paris hilton and angelina jolie more than anything else =p
But I don't really care about the clothes. Just pointing out how sloppy the republicans are. McCain's team has been handling the election poorly since day 1. If they were an IC family, they'd be a farm:p
You are right. They should have spent more than 150k on her clothes and hid this fact. ![]()
