Zeal had been shocked when the report came. Two of her bridge officers had been found dead, lying in pools of their own blood in their quarters. The resulting investigation ruled out suicide. In the meanwhile, however, Zeal had appointed the bridge positions of the dead officers to Ensada and Ty. Joseph was still "subdued" in the medical center. Nai had temporarily disabled him for the entire duration of his transition. Joseph could not speak properly; each word was gibberish, caused by a madness induced by the introduction of radically different energies into his system. Nai said that the two ad'min from the present universe had experienced the same phase when they had left the universe. It was quite disturbing to see Joseph incapacitated. Zeal felt she knew the Ad'min, and even more so she felt she knew Ensada and Ty. The two felt geniunely like the children she never had.
"Is something wrong?" Ensada asked.
"No... nothing. I'm fine." Zeal replied.
"You're sure?"
"Yes. Don't worry about me."
Zeal had felt odd the moment since she had woke onboard Lizzy's ship. Something in her had changed, but she couldn't say what. The Valhallan Star had lifted itself from the planet some three days earlier, and was currently heading the Enhasan contribution of the fleet. Currently almost sixty percent of the fleet was composed of the sleek warships Zeal herself had designed. There were the massive yet graceful carriers, each capable of subjugating worlds by themselves, and there were the smaller, more versatile warships, able to execute precise attacks while remaining undamaged. And then there was the Valhallan Star. The Avatar of the Queen. The oldest Enhasan vessel ever constructed, the ship was the ultimate monument to the Enhasan worlds. The hull was composed of an alloy incorporating the metals of sixty-three worlds, and the names of all who constructed the vessel were etched on plaques on the main reactor. There were some forty-thousand names on those plaques. The fleet would be ready in time. Zeal could only hope that the invasion could be stopped...

Lizzy was on her ship in the communication center with Ryan beside her.
"Try again, Lizzy!" Ryan said.
Someone had illegally flooded some communcation channels with useless data. And it was an inquisitors duty, to keep the communication channels free from such 'spam'.
So Lizzy tried again. She closed her eyes, linked to the channel and reached for the overseer powers inside her. She felt, that there still was power inside her. She tried to touch it, but there was something in her way. She tried to get around it, but there was another wall. She opened her eyes.
"I can't!"
"I'll do it for you"
Since Lizzy had lost her powers, Ryan was always around helping her. Sure, they were married and loved him. But she also hated him for always treating her like a sick child, now. She still was healthy, had a clear mind and her inborn partaxian magic.
In a matter of a few seconds Ryan deleted the spam. When he opened his eyes, he said:
"It's about time we go for Sogils ship to the meeting, darling."
"You're right, Ryan."
Both took the small boxes of Wihs prototype portals out of their pocket and changed the settings. Since they got this, it had been proving quite useful. When they arrived in the congress room on the Weihnachtsmann every else already was there.
When they sat on their places, Lizzy asked:
"Sogil, where are Nai and Tia? And why aren't we meeting on board of the Master, as usual?"
"As I explained toi the others before, Nai is still busy in the Ljusalfheim System and Tia is doing some tests with Wih. And I invited you here, because I wanted to show you something."
"Ok, now that we're all here, you can tell us." Starstrike hissed.
Sogil went over to Lizzy. "May I take your hand mylady?"
Lizzy was surprised and gave him her hand. As soon Sogil touched her she felt a sudden joy. It was like when Keltrava had touched her, just the opposite. She tried to touch her overseer powers again and yes, they were there. The others were staring at her, as they had felt it, too.
"How have you done that Sogil?" Ara asked.
"Thats what I want to tell you. I made a new contact and learned a lot from it. So I decided to go another way. And I hope you will follow me."
"Anotehr way? What do you mean?" Ara asked again.
"All those wars, all those rules of the ancient ones, all the things we have been fighting for so far. I think this is the wrong way. We need to unite the galaxy."
"This would be against the will of the ancient ones." Ryan said.
"The ancient ones! They have taken advantage of us long enough. And now, that they are away and obviously don't care about us, I don't see a reason to still follow them."
"This is treason!" Skylar shouted.
"Is this how you all think?" Sogil looked around.
Lizzy nodded. And also all the others nodded.
"I feared you'd say that, my friends." Sogil said and closed his eyes.
When Sogil opened his eyes again after a second he shouted "Guards" and from all doors guards equipped with laserguns.
Starstrike hissed. "Don't be stupid, Sogil. You and your guards don't stand a chance against 6 overseers."
"Overseers? Where are your overseer powers? You can of course still try your dragon fire, Starstrike."
Quickly Lizzy reached for her freshly regained powers. They were still there, so she aimed to disarm the nearest guard. Nothing happened. As soon as she used her powers they were somehow negated by the walls. She thought of hypnotizing one of the guards with her magic, but then she saw 3 laserguns aiming at her. And she wasn't vulnerable to Lasers, now. She looked around. The other overseers looked terrified.
"The guards will now collect your mini portals. And please don't make any fast movements. I invite you to be my guests here on the Weihnachtsmann, some time." Sogil said and went out.
The Inquisitors had no choice then giving the guards their mini portals.
"I have heard of the Anakin Skywalker syndrome before, but I never thought it would happen to one of us." Ryan commented.
"Nai expects me tomorrow to help him with this portal. I hope he realizes what happens when I don't appear and he can't reach any of us."
Sogil came on the bridge.
"Officers, proceed like planned. We need to get the Sogil system out of this 'secure' inquisitor area."
Long time ago, there had been machines, a technology of the ad'min installed, to move the complete system into another galaxies. This way, they had also been able to hide the Sogil System and replaced it with a fake one.
"Aye, Sir, where are we going to?"
"Somewhere, where Nai and Tia will never expect me. In the Pinwheel galaxy."

Zeal awoke with a shout. The dream she had was too real, too vivid. She could not remember anything about it except the word "betrayal". She got dressed and headed to the guest quarters, where Nai was staying. She knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" A somewhat groggy voice replied.
"It's me Nai." Zeal said. "We need to talk."
Nai opened the door, and Zeal stepped into the room. Nai looked tired, as if he hadn't slept in years. The lights in the room were at full, and the communications console in the corner had been replaced. Zeal had allowed this. The room was filled with overseer scientists. The quarters were Nai's home away from home, a research station adapted from technology from the world ship. Nai led Zeal towards the sleeping quarters, the only room that remained the way it was before his arrival.
"What did you need to talk to me about?" Nai asked. Before Zeal answered, she used the terminal in the room, sealing the door and activating the soundproofing.
"Something's wrong, Nai. I had a premonition... All I can remember is the word 'betrayal'. I think the Dark might have infiltrated the Overseers." Zeal said. "I can't explain how, but I know something has happened to the rest of the overseers. Something bad."
The air around Zeal started to crackle with blue-white energy, and her eyes went completely white. She spoke in a odd voice.
"The one you call 'friend' has betrayed you..."
Zeal then collapsed. Nai had never seen such a thing happen to someone before. He knew it could happen, as powerful Partaxian mages often supposedly could 'see' the future, and it was rumored the trance was somewhat similar to what Nai had just witnessed. Nai bent over Zeal, and put his hand to her forehead. Images of destruction flooded his mind, the most disturbing of them the image of the Valhallan Star. It was covered in dark flesh, with bony spikes along the hull. The wings flexed like those of a bat, tipped with claws. The neutron cannon was lined with spikes, and it released it's deadly stream onto Enhasa Prime, then Nailadan. The shells of the fleet floated around it, burning. The image changed, and the same perversion of the Valhallan Star was seen, escorting a Inquisitor class vessel, also covered in the same garish flesh. Nai thought he recognized it, but before he could pinpoint it, the images faded, and Zeal woke.
"We must not let this... happen..."
Nai helped Zeal to her feet, and carried her to the medical center. After the doctors checked her out, he walked her back to her quarters, and bid her a good night. He then returned to the medical center.
"How's our guest?" Nai asked the doctor.
"He's finished the transistion. He should wake up in the morning." The doctor replied.
"Good. Please notify me when he wakes." Nai said. He then dissolved into the blue-white energy, and disappeared through the hull. He scoured the galaxy with his will, and found nothing matching the imagery in the vision. He returned to human form in his quarters, and slept.

Standong on the Bridge of the Valhallan Star, Nai had been very discouraged. His queries to the other Overseers had only been responded to by Tia, who was enroute with Wih.
Furthermore, the report that Sogil, the Sogil Prime system and his fleet had ceased all communication with Nai's fleet, was also a major concern. This kind of silence was deafening.
Nai removed himself from the bridge and retreated into his office. Releasing himself from his human form, he took up his Overseer form and rose up into the moderator interface.
The galaxies of all of the Imperialis Universe unfolded before him. The main galaxies were readily arrayed before him, which hundreds of the smaller drawf galaxies and galactic clouds seen in it's entirity. Nearly 20,000 galaxies in all were visiable. Most, with just small percentages of sentient life waiting for the Overseers to place them into motions of development.
One of the dwarf galaxies came up, devoid of any life. It was a little larger than most, only about a tenth the size of the milky way.
Nai reached out and touched several of the stars in the new image, ten in all. Closing his eyes, a tear came to his eye. He collected onto his finger and cast it out upon the images. Soon, cold, rock-like, lifeless planets began to show signs of life, and within only moments entire ecosystems were formed, waterclouds, puffy white began to form, as oceans of blue formed, forests of green overtaking regions of sand, all occuring over and over on nearly a hundred worlds.
Nai, then withdrew just above the images, and a new one of Naladian Prime was shown.. reaching out again, Nai cupped the system, and moved it ever so gently into the new life bearing Galaxy. Shortly after, he reached into space, and pulled up an image of Tia and Wih's vessel and did the same, placing it near the Planetship world of Nailadian Prime.
Then, speaking in a voice, much like that of a father to his children.. "prepare these worlds, culitavate them, and grow strong. Build a new fleet, I will come for them soon."
Then, casting a spell, a mistlike weave began to form from the fabric of space around the small dwarf galaxy, and it slowly disappeared from view.
Satisfied, Nai returned to his human form, and took a seat. Ok Wih, you're holding the only key in or out of that world.
"Do not fail this test, my old friend.. take care of Tia.."
"Rune.."
"Yes Sir," responded the obidient child.
"Please tell Ensada, I would speak with her now."
Moments later, Ensada walked in. Escorted by Rune.
It was obvious from Ensada's eyes that she was scanning the Imperialis Universe from the interface.
"So this is the only one outside of the Master?"
"Yes"
"The Ad'min left this in my care when they left after the Bug War."
"So what are you going to do about this."
"There is only one thing I can."
"Then I will stay here, and watch out for them while you are gone."
"Joseph insisted that you would. He knows you well."
There was a moment of silence.
"May I be excused Sir," Said Rune, obviously distracted by his need to be on the bridge.
"You may go."
Nai looks up, catching a glympse, as Ensada watches Rune depart.
"I see the way you look at him. He's a good man.. but he is only mortal. Don't let the pain I endured, happen to you."
Ensada stood, blushing lightly, then a tight lip covered over her face. "Oh..." with a sudden realization of what Nai meant.
"I am sorry, Nai. It won't.... " then, with her thought redirected at the tasks at hand she picks up with running down Nai's instruction as to the modifications to make on the Valhallan Star. She concludes "Ok.. we will be ready.. safe journey."
"Safe Journey."
Ensada, then turns and exits the room. Nai then proceeds to cast another spell, sealing this room forever, until his return, and his return only."
Nai stands, and around him materializes several great swords and weapons. Taking one, he then disolves into millions of little lights.

Zeal had been overseeing the refit of Starbase 01 herself. They had just finished installing the fold drive and hyperdrives, and the base now had a sort of conventional drive, certified to be safe to move the base with. The starbase would appear like a moon over Nai's worldship, and all twelve starbases were being refitted for just that purpose. They would provide necessary repairs for cruisers during the battle, and the defensive grids installed on each base were powerful enough that the starbase would have been able to conquer entire systems. Starbase 01 had six neutron cannons installed, of completely new design. They were much smaller then the previous models, and had a 360 degree firing arc and 90 degree angle of inclination. They would be able to hit anything on any side of the mobile base. Zeal was going to take command of Starbase 01 after refits were complete, and it was one of three that was being equipped for a offensive role. It had well over a million fighters at it's disposal, as well as several large battlecruisers. Zeal planned a promotion for Rune, as she was going to leave him in charge of the Valhallan Star after the fleet was ready. She had renamed the starbase "Divine Light", and was allowing Ensada and Ty to name the mobile bases that she was preparing for them. Ensada had named Starbase 02 the "Fortuna", and Ty was currently trying to decide between the "White Star" and "Luna Siona". Joseph had constructed a small worldship with his powers shortly after he had awoken. It was the Worldship Noxia, and carried the offensive strength of the entire Therionic expanse. The Fortuna and Ty's currently unnamed command would be with the Noxia, while the rest of the modified bases would be with the Nailadian Worldship, serving as fleet sustainment. Zeal thought the plan was ingenious.
"Majesty, Divine Light reports ready for Hyperspace and Fold drive testing."
"Thank you, I will be on the Divine Light. Commander, you have the bridge."
"Acknowledged."
Zeal had walked to the shuttlebay where the Jakarta was, and, ignoring safety procedure, she folded the shuttle directly into the Divine Light's flight bay, startling fighter crews. She then used a small device Wih had given her, and she found herself on the bridge of the Divine Light. The lieutenant in command gave command to Zeal, and resumed duty at his station. The bridge was massive, the bridge crew somewhere in the hundreds. Zeal looked across the bridge, finding that this place was indeed larger then the bridge on the Valhallan Star. It was almost as large as fleet command.
"Majesty, we are ready to begin. All ports are locked and secured."
"Good. Initiate the Hyperdrive test."
"Acknowledged, initiating hyperdrives..."
The Divine Light moved out of it's orbit, and disappeared into hyperspace. It re-entered normal space at Enhasa Prime.
"Hyperspace systems are all nominal, we have achieved our objective. Fleet Command reports that there are no anomalies in the Hyperdrive systems. We will remain here until the crew from planetside is safely aboard." The helms officer reported. She looked back at the Queen. We are ready to perform the Fold test. Fleet Command would like to know how the drive performs without wings, while moving a object with the mass of a moon." The officer smiled and returned to her duties.
The entire combat crew for the Divine Light took less then three hours to arrive. After they had found their stations and familiarized themselves with station systems, Zeal had given the go ahead for the Fold test. The Divine Light's surface started to glow a gentle blue, and while it did, a hole in space formed directly ahead of it. The Divine Light moved quickly enough that it appeared to stretch as it transited, re-emerging in the Ljusalfheim system. The Valhallan Star reported that the fold signature was normal, and that they had detected no anomalies. The Divine Light took up orbit around Ljusalfheim Prime. The bridge crew let out a loud cheer, and everyone started celebrating. There were shouts of joy from everywhere, and Zeal, not wanting to bring down the crew morale joined them in the party that ensued in the Officer's Mess. The Officer's Mess was the largest lounge in the system, complete with a restaurant, live music, and a bar. Zeal spent the entire night there, and finally returned to the Valhallan Star. She planned to seal her quarters after retrieving some items. After she had finished with her business on the Valhallan Star, she went up to the bridge, and put a small box on Rune's seat. She waited for him to arrive. He picked the box up off the seat and sat down.
"What's this?" Rune said as he opened the small box.
"Congratulations. I hereby promote you to the rank of Captain in the Enhasan Navy for your distinguished service to date. I am also pleased to inform you that the Valhallan Star is now your command. Be gentle with her, I'd like to see her after everything's been taken care of." Zeal said, with a smirk on her face. The bridge crew started clapping, and Ensada and Ty let out cheers. Zeal then got up from the command chair, and gestured for Rune to sit in it. As he did the bridge crew cheered again.
"Ensada, Ty, your ships are ready. May we have the best of luck in our journeys."
"Thank you, Siona." Ensada said. Zeal looked somewhat shocked, but it subsided quickly. The three of them stepped into the turbolift, and Zeal payed one last visit to her quarters. While there she sealed them through ship's security, and then she cast the same spell Nai had, and the quarters were sealed, only for her to open. She had left a item of great importance sealed in the quarters for safe keeping. She then turned, and dissolved into a blue-white light, that flickered through the hull of the Valhallan Star. She was gone.

Wih
Planetary Lord Mar 24th, 00:29 GMT
Wih listened to the quiet of the control room. There was nothing. Tia was launching the other Diomni to attack the Dark ship.
Wih was feeling worried about things. How had things come this far? He had only ever meant good when he had done his dealings with various rulers and triumverents. Now he was dealing property that could get him deleted, or even banned.
Wih opened up the mini-portal box, and took them all out. Moving his finger in a strange pattern on the base of the box, a strange humming sound filled the room, and a small black and red object appeared in Wih's hand.
"All this risk. For this little box. Even my scientist cant seem to figure out what it does."
Wih starts to examine it, the same way he has been for several years. Pressing and throwing it, going so far as to hitting it and zapping it with the ship's electrical sockets. And as per normal, nothing happens, and as per normal, Wih gets frustrated at it, and hits it. A small shock zaps Wih, and he stops trying.
Wih drops it back into the box, and seals it up again, and puts the mini portals back in. He sits back, and starts to relax, for the first time since this all began. Then a face pops up on the vid-screen.
"Hey Wih, How bout we test out this big ship of yours." It was Tia, in the other Diomni.
"Ok. But after we've got the Dark ship dealt with."
Suddenly, Wih felt slow. Something was happening inside the Diomni. It was getting tedious. It was as if time itself had frozen, and then, it canme all at once, in one nano-second of time. Wih felt the gravity hit him, and the time distort at the speed that the two ships were traveling. Suddenly, instead of the Drak ship blowing up from the speed, it shrivelled up and died.
'That's right, some of the dark ships are biological. That means that we must of jumped in time by a few rounds... that is NOT good...'
Suddely Tia fushed into the room.
'What was that?' she asked, frantically to Wih.
'I think we experienced the symptoms of a major case of what they call 'lag'. Not just a munite lag, but more about a few weeks worth of lag. Because of this, the ships and the hyperdrive sped up to balance this, and we were going far to fast for normal ships to fly. The dark ship must of experienced this; this made the dark ship age quickly, as it was a biological life form. The only problem is that with the speed and all, we're far to much ahead of the current time-line. I'm afraid that we're ahead in time by a long way, and by the time we gt back, the Dark have either won, or been defeated. But...' Wih paused for a minute, thinking to himself.
'There's only one way that we can get back to the proper time, but we could overshoot as it's still in testing. You must _promise_ to me you will never tell a soul about this, and never block, delete or tell anyone else about this. Tia, where is the mini-portal that I gave you?'
Tia, with a puzzled expression on her face, hands Wih the portal.
'Now, this is what I need you to do. Make sure that all of your crew are inside the Diomni, and then You must fly out in a transport pod, and place this mini-portal securely in space, so it does not move at all. Then, use your mod powers to enlarge it exponentially, so the entire Diomni can go through it.'
Tia, with a stunned face, nods. Wih presses several buttons.
'I've done what I can with this thing. Wether it will be enough to get us back, who knows. You have 30 seconds to press this button [He points to a small silver and red button in the centre of the other buttons] to activate it, then get the pod back into the Diomni, and us to go through it. But, the portal must be a significant distance away, as it's feild dusturbs to ability for these ships to fuse.'
Tia nods, with a grim expression on her face, and sprints towards the docking bay with the mini-portal. As she hops in, she realises an easy way to get back to the ship. She flys out towards the wreckage of the Dark ship, and goes space walking. Wedging the portal in a large stationery moss slab, She concentrates on the portal itself. The space-time continuuim shudders. Mod powers in a still hyperspace don't mix very well...
After a few seconds of concentration, the portal grow. It grow beyond normal measure.
Winds are flying everywhere, shadows falling and rising. Something is happening. Tia, a bit shocked, reverts to her new powers and disappears.
Suddenly in the control room, Tia appears.
'There's been some sort of reaction to the portal! Go through it now!'
Wih turn on the rear boosters, and zooms foward, leaving behind the transport pod. They enter the portal, and when they are half way through, time stops. Again. A voice rings out for all of the people aboard to Diomni to hear.
"Prepare these worlds, culitavate them, and grow strong. Build a new fleet, I will come for them soon."
Wih is amazed at what he is hearing. It is Nai, speaking to them, through galaxies, hyperspace and time. And then Wih hears a whisper. Somehow he knows that only he will be able to hear it.
"Do not fail this test, my old friend.. take care of Tia.."
Wih pauses. He realizes that they are somewhere. Somewhere, somewhere he has never seen, and never heard of. A small galaxy, maybe 10 by 15 parsecs across it. But it will do. He looks around him at what Nai has done. He sees dense amounts of worlds, all perfect for life. And he sees no imperfections. Then he hears a cry from Tia.
'Oh my God! Wih! Look over here! Nailadian Prime is here too!' Tia shouts exuberantly.
Wih, even more amazed, is shocked. Then he realizes something. The portal is still there, in the colapsing hyperspace. Wih is relieved. It is a way out for anyone who will survive to go back, and change things.
Wih contacts Nailadian Prime, and asks to dock.
Wih docks, and everyone exits. Wih constricts them into the bands, and uploads them onto his ICQ. Wih is worried about what is going on.
'Dont worry Wih' he hears himself say, as if from another place. 'You're the cavalry. You'll be able to make a difference if you need to.'
Wih collapses, and doesn't say a word.

Zeal transcended space and time. She floated over Enhasa Prime, admiring the beauty of life. The world glowed a exuberant blue-green in her vision. Zeal watched as the fleet at Ljusalfheim departed, on course to rendez-vous with Nai's fleet and worldship. As soon as the last ship entered hyperspace, Zeal cast a spell using the powers at her disposal. A shimmering blue barrier surrounded the entire Enhasan Worlds, a bubble of space 40 parsecs across at it's widest point. The space fluctuated, and the planets themselves dissappeared. Zeal deposited them in the Nailadian Galaxy, and using the last of her strength, created a replica of Starbase 01 over Enhasa prime. She deliberately arranged her systems so that they were at the border of the Galaxy, with Enhasa Prime moved to the same system as Nailadan. Her empire had exhausted all the natural resources left in the sector of Triangulum that they had originated from, and Zeal felt obligated to defend the galaxy Nai had fostered. She watched as the planets created a defensive fleet, and she watched as heavy battlecruisers formed a sphere around the galaxy, preventing entry by those unwanted. Zeal felt that her empire was safe only in the galaxy Nai had created, and she had moved all the systems to the borders of it, to defend it against intruders. The nearest uninhabited system to the Enhasan Worlds was more then 3 parsecs away. Zeal ordered the Enhasan worlds never to expand in this new galaxy, never to move inward. The entire Enhasan navy in that galaxy was stationed defensively at the edge of it. Enhasa Prime shared the same system as Nailadan Prime, and Zeal had made sure that trade would be profitable, encouraging further growth in the small galaxy. Zeal reached out to Wih with her mind.
"I provide you with defense, so you may focus your efforts elsewhere. Encourage any new empires that appear to trade with Enhasa Prime. My people will never let themselves be seen, and shall be regarded solely as the protectors. They will be neutral in all affairs. I wish you the best of luck."
Zeal then coalesced in her quarters aboard the Divine Light, where she slept.

Sogil was on the bridge of the Weihnachtsmann and coordinating attacks. After his fellow overseers had been imprisoned, his allies and the cult of mult finally dared to attack. In all galaxies but triangulum so far no major battles have been slain. Also Tia and Nai, the overseers still being free hadn't done anything major, yet.
But in the Triangulum galaxy there had been a strong Alliance that denied to follow him. What this Alliance didn't know was, that they had a spy among them. One of the empires in this alliance had been ruled by a member of the cult of mult. So when the Triforce fleet commanded by Throck and supported by several dark ships met the fleet of this alliance, he didn't only know all of the battle plans. He also knew that his enemy would be backstabbed.
The battle became a massacre. The forces of the Alliance didn't stand a chance and were got crushed. And as the the Empire of Zeal had been vanished for some reason, Triforce was now dominating Triangulum. But there was still much resistance to be crushed.
Is this what I'm fighting for?, Sogil thought. Sogil wanted to unite the galaxy and bring eternal peace. But this war was worse then every war he led before. More empires then expected kept faith to the ancient overseers, even when they didn't stand a chance against the mighty fleets of his allies. Sogil knew, those empires stood in his way and so had to be destroyed, but somehow he felt that was somehow not right.
Also this multi technology of controling other bodies. Under his rule, everybody was free to do this, but Sogil still found it unmoralic and had denied the offer of emperor Proton to teach it to him.
His communication officers interuppted his thoughts.
"Sir, we have reports from our fleets in Orion"
"On the screen!"
On the screen appeared a former ally of Sogil, now commanding the forces in Orion. It had been hard to convince him to join the dark and work together with the cult of mult.
"We're having a problem over here, Sogil."
"Yes?"
"The Empire of Wings of Valmar is opposing us. He has done several major attacks against smaller empires who came over to our side."
"So what are you waiting for? Crush him."
"Thats the problem. We attacked one of his planets, but it has been a trap. The planet was full of Lasers. Our bombers weren't able to destroy a third of them. We lost most of our fleet until we managed to withdraw our forces. And now we aren't strong enough any more to defeat him any more."
"You Idiot! You stupid son of bug! Your small brain isn't capable of thinking, not speaking of leading an army! You will die for this!"
"Sogil? What are you talking?"
'What am I talking?' Sogil thought 'I'm threatening to kill my friends... and I have already imprisoned some of my friends...'
"I'm sorry. Its just that anger has overwhelmed me. I'll take this matter into my own hands."
"Phew...you sounded serious, Sogil. I'll await your arrival."
The channel closed.
"Communication officer, tell our fleet to prepare to travel to Orion. The Desperado, the former flagship of Inquisitor Skylar taken over by our dark friends shall also come with us."
"Yes, Sir"
"Captain, I'm now going over to the Zahnfee and I'm leaving you in charge of the Weihnachtsmann. You're also responsible for our 'guests'. But be careful, even without their powers they can be dangerous."
"Aye, Sir"
In a flash Sogil disappeared.

A few flashes lightened the space near the Tronos System in Orion and a few small inquisitor ships entered the normal space. Quickly they secured the area and other flashes happened when the fleet of Inquisitor Sogil arrived. Finally, in 3 big flashes the three giant Inquisitor ships appeared, The Osterhasi, the Desperado and the Zahnfee with Sogil on board. The fleet headed towards the Tronos System.
Soon the fleet of Sogils allied joined them. The fleet showed signs of a heavy battle. The combined forces proceeded to the seventh planet of the Tronos system. Only the 3 Inquisitor Class ships stayed behin ten thousand kilometres.
Sogil was walking up and down on the bridge of the Zahnfee.
"Sir, we have spotted the fleet of Wings of Valmar. And I have scanned the surface of the planet. There are stil thousands of Lasers on it." the Scan officer said.
"Don't worry about that, we won't get near those Lasers"
"Sir they want to contact us" the communication officer said.
"On the screen"
A man appeared on the screen.
"Sir Dave, we meet again. You know that I can crush you like the last time we met. And this time I'll also use my Inquisitor powers. But I'll make you a last offer. Join us to fight against the rules of the ancient ones."
"I'm only ruling during the absence of empress Millenia. So the rumours are true. The Inquisitor Sogil has become corrupt. I'm not a friend of the rules of the ancient ones, but I have still lived well with them. Why should I exchange this rule against the rule of you and your dark friends?"
"So you decline me?"
"How can I trust you? You have betrayed the other Inquisitors and led them into a trap."
"It was necessary!"
"You are a traitor. You have betrayed those who trusted you. You are now hated by the whole galaxy!"
"Shut up!" Sogil roared. "Close the channel!"
The screen got black again, as the communication officer closed the channel.
"We're linked together with the Osterhasi and the Desperado, now?"
"Yes, Sir!"
"Fine, lets start with the IP-scans. We need these datas to block Wings of Valmar."
"IP scans have started. Estimate finish in 20 minutes."
Sogil looked out of the window to the planet. As expected the enemy realized what he was going to do and started his fleets. A swarm of fighters and several battle ships emerged from the planet and headed towards him. Sogil smiled, as the forces of his and his allies ships engaged the enemies and forced them into a dogfight. From the safe distance he saw the red Laser beams of his enemies and his allies and the white glow of the deletion beams of his own forces. Sometimes an explosion flashed, when the reactor of one of the bigger ships got hit. Suddenly he saw flashes on some of his ships. 'So the enemy has the support of some Partaxian', Sogil thought. 'But this won't help him.'
Sogil continued watching the battle unil someone said behind him: "Sir, the scan has been finished."
Sogil turned around and went back to his seat. "Good, and now initiate the blocking device."
"Are you sure, Sir? There were no traces of anything illegal."
"I decide whats legal and what not. Now obey your orders."
"Yes, Sir"
Sogil pressed on a button on his commander seat and a ball with three holes in it came out of the ground beside him. Sogil sticked his fingers into the holes and closed his eyes. The blocking of a complete empire was something only an overseer could do. Sogil sensed the 3 ships and let his power flow into them. He also sensed the empire and launched his energies against it.
When Sogil opened his eyes he saw that the battle had ended. Like the empire they were from, the fleet of Wings of Valmar was now in a stasis field. They couldn't move any more, but also nothing could touch them any more.
"Shall we begin the deletion?" the weapon officer asked.
Sogil thought of it. They must be killed they opposed us. They deserved a slow dead. No, Sir Dave just had kept faith, he shouldn't be punished. Yes, they stand in your way, they must be killed something said inside him. No, he hasn't done anything wrong, something is influencing my mind.
"Sir?" the weapon officer asked.
"No!!" Sogil shouted.
The officers stared at him.
"We'll now fly back to Sogil Prime. Contact my fleet to return. And tell my allies, that they should take care about the familymembers of Wings of Valmar."
"Aye, Sir" the communication officer said.
Suddenly the scan officer said: "Sir, there has been some strange effect."
"Explain!"
"One ship of Wings of Valmar has repelled the blocking and retargeted to us. It has fizzled on our shields."
"Where is this ship?"
"I can't say, exactly. Its not in Orion."
"Thats really strange."
"Emperor Proton is contacting us."
"On the screen"
"Emperor Proton appeared on the screen"
"Congratulations, Sogil for this great victory! Another victory for the good cause"
"Thank you."
"But I'm having a question."
"Ask away"
"When will the lawsuit be?"
"lawsuit?"
"The Inquisitors you imprisoned must pay for their crimes. So many empires have been deleted by them. So many dead. And now we have them under our control we can finally make them pay."
"If you consider this a crime there should also be a lawsuit against me."
"No, of course not. You're on our side, now. Hand them over to me and I'll bring them justice"
"There won't be a lawsuit. They are still my friends and I won't hand them over to you."
"What? You must!"
"No, this is my final word!"
"OK, we'll see."
The screen went black as Proton closed the channel.
Sogil turned to his navigation officer. "Activate the fold drives. We're going home."

The fleet was safely underway to rendez-vous at the designated location. Nai had set up a area where the fleet would be safe from attacks, and it seemed that he did not know of what Zeal had done with her empire. The next day before she went to sleep, she had dematerialized again. In the center of the Enhasan expanse, now completely devoid, was the orb retrieved from the Keltra Nebula. As Zeal reached out to it, it reacted to her, and all the matter left in the region was sucked towards it. The orb turned a alabaster white, and the Teyanic Mobile Weapon formed around it. Zeal watched as the weapon was revealed in its true glory, not the perversion that had been witnessed in the nebula. It majestically floated in space, and when it was complete, the orb remained lodged firmly in it. A blue sphere briefly flickered around it, and Zeal saw small white slivers detach from the main body, surrounding it while leaving the weapon able to fire. With the weapon Zeal would protect the region until her empire's return. Zeal then called upon the new strength, and a planet formed in her view. At first it was a barren rock, but then, oceans formed, and the planet was green with life. The planet was almost entirely water, with a few lush continents. On the largest continent, Zeal placed a single artifact. The artifact was large, large enough to be seen from a very low orbit. It was a perfect alabaster dome, in the exact center of the continent. Zeal had put all the knowledge of Enhasa into the dome, for the future empire to discover. They would carry out their godess's will until her return. Zeal also etched a single prophecy on every square foot of the dome. It said "When the 12 moons appear in the heavens, and meteors fall from the sky, the Godess will appear. The Godess will lead the people beyond the great wasteland, to their destiny among the stars." Zeal watched as in the world she created, it's inhabitants eventually gathered around the dome. Eventually a great city was built, ambitious and clean, and never once did Zeal witness a war rage across the planet. She gradually slowed time back to normal for the planet, leaving the civilization hundreds of years from hyperspace capability. Inside the dome rested a Makoris Reactor and the largest Kharan Matrix ever constructed. They would protect the world from the outsiders, whilst barring them from travelling into inhabited systems. Zeal then appeared back in her quarters as the Divine Light arrived at the rendez-vous. She refreshed herself, before stepping out into the corridor, and walking to the bridge. Kajal would rise to the stars again, to rejoin her sister, Enhasa, fufilling the prophecy that had been etched on the base of the Palace on Enhasa Prime.

Nai slowed from his pace, and briefly, he felt his power draw from him, then return bolstered, rejuvenated. Looking at his modship form, lights of gold and red appeared.
Nai had never seen this of his powers before.
The ball of energy that was Nai collesqued into Nai's human form hovering between the galaxies. He was on his way to aid Sir Dave. Before him, a face, one he foundly knew. It was Stefan. The projection of the Ad'min looked at Nai, and infused his knowledge in Nai.
"Go, Sogil awaits you" Stefan said in the Ancients tounge.
"So be it" replied Nai, also in the Ancients tounge.
In a wink of an eye, Nai propelled himself a speeds he'd never done before. The galaxies blurred by, like streaks of starlight, until the galactic disk of Orion was before him. Moving closer, within only seconds, the fleets of Valmar, and the three Inquisitor vessels appeared before him.
Nai, reaching out with his mind, unblocked one of the massive battleships of Valmar, and it immediately began to fire upon the Zahnfee. Nai immediately willed the ship into phase. It was immediately apparent that the Zahnfee wasn't prepared to scan on such frequencies, and would not target it. Although protecting, it's weapons were also rendered ineffective.
The voice of Proton could be heard, and this troubled Nai. It begin broadcast from the parts of the fleets aligned with Sir Dave. Nai looked at them, and they simply vanished. In the back of his mind, he also knew that it's owning empire was too, vanished.
The Zahnfee began immediately to attempt to fold.
Though it succeeded in it's fold, The Osterhasi and the Desperado did not. Nai felt the permiation of the dark onboard them, and by a mere look, they exploded in two bright blasts.
Closing his eyes, Nai reached out for Sogil from the fleeing vessel.. And pulled him back to him.
The Zahnfee rematerialized where it had been before.
It slowly turned, in the manner that such large vessels do until it bore directly at Nai.
Sogil was furious, but he couldn't understand why. The anger and conceit consumming his soul. These are the things he felt. The shock of a failed fold succumbing to the vision he saw on the ships interface.
The bridge crew and all it's members could be heard gasping at first and then mumblings. One of them exclaiming "Dear God!"
That comment came immediately to Sogils mind too. Hovering in space, could be seen the faint facelight form of Nai in Modship form.. wearing the dress of the Ad'min. The blue enegry the signature and characteristic of Nai was now mixed with the Gold and the Red that Sogil knew immediately.
Nai, knowing that all the eyes of the occupants of the Zahnfee were upon him. He allowed for them to send the transmission to the galaxy as was standard operating proceedures of the Overseers.
Nai looking over at the blocked Valmarian ships willed them unblocked and home.. and they disappeared from this place in a mere wave of his hand.
In the language of the Ad'min, Nai spoke.. "Sogil, my dear friend... I come for you."
The pupils of Nai began to glow a twisted red and gold. The two colors became dazzeling and the rushed forth in a tremendous burst. An End of Round wave ripped through the Zahnfee, deckplates and hundred of ship floors peeling back layer after layer decimating every thing and every life on board. The wave trajectory proceeding out of the system headed in the direction of deepspace.
Except Sogil.. who now, was instantly transformed to his modship form.
Nai pulled forth his sword, and it too shown of Ad'min properties, and slashed at a Sogil.. who ducked.. though it became quickly obvious that he was not it's target.
Form the space behind Sogil, a creature of pure blackness, erupted into flames, the sword of Nai, cutting it in two. The great beast expending the last of it's negative lifeforce exploded like that of a supernova. Forming a white hole.. all the material it has comsummed now free expanded in every direction.
The material passing thru Nai and Sogil for a moment, until it had all passed. The only remains were a cloud of gas and vapor as a planetary nebula began to forum from the area. The light of Nai, and that of Sogil now lit the cloud offering an erie auora.
Again, speaking in the ancient tounge, slowly Nai proceeded to explain to Sogil what happened "That creature was one of Protons minions, a bug. It possessed you from the orb. You are free of it know, though I fear it may have infected your soul, even in it's death."
Sogil, in modship form, collesque..and fainted.
Nai.. moving over, took him in his hands.. and they faded from few.
Only remains of the place now, a rapidly expanding sphere of hot gas and material. The remnants of the Bug.
The next day, Sogil awoke to find himself in a bed, clean linens, laid our on a chair next to him. StarStrike, Lizzy and Ryan stood over him. Ara moved forward.. "There ya go ya old bloat.. You didn't think we'd let you sleep off this whole war now did ya?"
"What... wha.. what happened" said Sogil, trying to sit up, suddenly realising he had a pounding headache.. and laid back down.
"That, my friend, is a long story" said Lizzy, holding and hugging on Ryans arm. A slight smile creeping to her lips. "One I sure would like to hear."
"Yeah.. your gonna have to tell us sometime... you just came in and destoryed their suppression technology. You were untouchable... everything they did to stop you.. you just ,just walked right through. You saved us from certain death."
"Where is Nai...."
All the Mods turned looking blankly at each other.. "Nai? what about Nai, we haven't seen him since he left to get Ensada and Ty."
The stress of thinking about all that happened, rushed into Sogil's mind.. he collapsed.. weary from his ordeal.. The nurse then, stepped forward.. "With all due respect, please.. he needs his rest" as she ushered all of the visitors out of the recovery room.
Sogil.. thinking of the last thing he heard in his mind was Nai speaking again, in the tounge of the ancients, "This is only the beginning. Grow from this, learn from this my friend. Realize the truth."
With that, Sogil closed his eyes and countinued his rest.

Zeal had planted a small observation drone in the new Kajal System. She had remote control of it, and it was currently in high orbit. The cameras on it could zoom in, but she was worried more about the sudden appearance of large satellites in orbit over the planet. They were equipped with powerful scanning equipment, and Zeal had destroyed three of these satellites with the drone's limited energy cannon. The satellites had detected a great deal, and apparently, they also detected the Kharan Matrix. The Kajalian Empire currently dwelled on three planets in the home system, and one in a system closer to the border of the Enhasan Expanse. They had no hyperdrives; The world of Ziyal had been opened to them by a solar anomaly. The great sailed ships they had used had been propelled towards Ziyal at close to lightspeed when a solar flare erupted, and Kajal had refined the design, a dozen of the colony ships were positioned, waiting for the predicted flare to propel them to their destination. It was ingenious. The drone shifted it's cameras to the planet, and Zeal was suprised. There was a large nuclear missle on a intercept course with the drone. She fired the drone's single energy cannon, penetrating the armored warhead, and it exploded in low orbit. The drone was pushed into a higher orbit, when a glint of light caught Zeal's eye. She turned the drone towards it, and a metal lattice was revealed. Inside the latticework, a rather large ship resided. The design was that of a Star class cruiser, and the lattice extended for seven kilometers. Zeal finally realized what had happened. The drone's sensors revealed that the bubble of shielding was gone. And she saw a transport climbing from the surface, it's engines glowing a vibrant blue. She realized it was no transport. It was of the same design as the Valhallan Star's engineering module. The module was gently lowered into position, and a flare of activity was seen below the prow of the incomplete vessel. There was a cannon of vintage design mounted there, and it's relays were coming online for the first time. Zeal turned her thoughts to the TMW, floating in orbit around the main planet. She quickly activated it's defenses, and the area in front of the Star class vessel was filled yellow white light. The beam struck the drone, and the picture on screen fizzled out of existence. The beam continued it's course towards the Mobile Weapon, and struck the flank of it. The weapon shuddered, and started to lose power. A number of transports streaked towards it, and the weapon suddenly disappeared. The weapon was infinitely more powerful then the energy cannon on that ship. Zeal had examined the ship thouroughly, and from the progress, estimated it would be at least another 38 years before a fourth Star class vessel would take flight. Zeal found that Kajal sought to find it's own destiny among the stars, and they had definetely encountered other empires by that time. The Prophecy would be fufilled.

"When the 12 moons appear in the heavens, and meteors fall from the sky, the Goddess will appear. The Goddess will lead the people beyond the great wasteland, to their destiny among the stars"
The computer would not reveal any more about "Enhasa". The praetor looked at the interface with disdain. He was the highest of his order, and had pried the doors of the Dome open. It revealed it's knowledge to him, and two days ago, it had erupted from the surface of Kajal prime with the best people of the empire on board. The praetor was worried. The prophecy would not be fufilled. The universe was coming to an end. The future was... uncertain. The praetor hoped that the twelve moons would appear, for the Goddess would only then take Kajal into her arms. If she did not, they would fall prey to the foul, the unmentionable, the Dark.

Wih was sitting at his mainscreen, thinking about his new empire, when he saw a message pop up on his screen. It was from Nai.
'The dark scouts have started to move again. They've taken Pinwheel, and are moving towards Triangulum, and we suspect they'll be heading to sagittarius dwarf after that. I've managed to move the inhabitants to Andromeda for safety, but we need to eliminate the threat before they reach sagittarius, just before their scouts reach andromeda. Hurry with your ships, they will be needed soon. Very soon.'
Wih paused, and suddenly got an Idea. Walking towards the engineering department, he gets out his Diomni bands, and hands them to the head engineer.
'Make as many copies of these as you can, each a different base color. Make them as fast as possible.'
'I'll do my best sir' the engineer replied.
Wih walked back to his room, and went in a trouble sleep.
