Topic: V.I.P Features

Just out of curiosity. Not saying this will or will not go anywhere. But I was just wondering. Have any of you guys thought of any VIP features that you'd like to add/remove?

atm, the VIP features are:

-Ability to play Draco galaxy
-Ability to draft friends into families/join any family
-Ability to create YAMAs on mapgen
-Ability to check for unexplored planets/specific family systems
-Ability to use avatars/signatures


So just wondering how you guys felt about it right now. What would entice you to buy a premium account?

-vip tag
-statistics: how much planets you lost, how many you gained.
-bring back custom games and give vips ability to create 1
-use of BBcode in forums, search function in forums
-new sidebars for vips only
-get notified by email if you get attacked

keep all the current features big_smile and add more - do care what as long as it gives value for money-  if this rounds draco is the same as the past 2 years dracos then it need closing for good and replacing with something totally new

Yep more statistics and vip tag on forum and family page (like it used to be). Also in the planet list i would like see of each planet what sector they are in, dont like to check every cood with more then 100 planets. Could name alot more features though, currently its not worth the $10 imho.

Galactic Congress is useless, You have the initial threads: "First to post." etc. Followed by few spams. Then the congress is usually dead rest of the round. tongue

VIP Tags for each VIP bought. I mean if im gonna buy every time and buy others like i have then why not extra VIP tags both forum and fam.

also maybe just "one extra op" of some kind that no one but VIP's can get which would make attacking or banking an advantage.

extra ops give a gameplay advantage to vips, that's not good, we need features that don't give you an advantage ingame but that are just handy, save you time, etc...

All thats stupid. Extra opp, add 2 morale, 10 race points. Destroy the game or dont add those stuff.

If you want to get a VIP acount special, give it more features. Add BBcoding in forums, allow custom games, have more family/personal statics, show VIP icons at people names, receive emails when a message is respond to your posts, add multiple search functions i.e. Iron planets above 15% etc.

10 race points can be the difference of negative research, magic and attack or positive.
go imagine to have new players joining against a fam with vips, you'll imagine theres an unfair advantage...

well, I don't know. I can't really discredit the extra ops, etc. stuff

The whole idea of a VIP account is to have a slight advantage. Don't you think that yamas are an advantage over the planet lists op? But anyhow, Keep em coming. I do see several good ideas here. I don't think the BB code is possible on these forums. We tried to set it up for VIP's to use when we set up the forums but it wasn't working.

Well on another note, the reason I stick with IC and don't go runnngi of to other games is because you soon find out. If you don't pay you aren't worth shit. Don't let that happen to this game.

But in stead of add opps or so. Add search players planets on map. Then you can make plists but not waiste on opp on it. Plus even good attackers in fams with limited funds can then get plists if they are vips.

vip advantages shouldn't give an advantage in game play. Yama's are an advantage, but every fam almost has a vip in it who can share the yama's with everyone. Giving extra ops, extra morale, extra race points, extra income, extra bonuses is out of the question for me. Vip options should just be time saving options, extra fun options like statistics, side bars, custom galaxys. nothing that changes gameplay advantage drastically, and i think the majority of the ic community will agree on this.
