Economy Management Game where the win is decided by who owns the most planets at the end of the run. Sucks that you can only win the econ mgmt game by taking planets of others...

I didn't say it was a non-conflict game, I implied the economy management aspect of the game is more significant than the conflict aspect.

It is both, and part of managing your economy is the defense budget of being set up to avoid those attacks. Does it suck to be clawing your way out of the gutter in a half inactive family only to be totally destroyed by the top one or two families? Absolutely, but that is where you need to find alternate ways of gaining planets / value / fun.

With the way that MW is setup now, I think economy is a much larger factor than war, but there are still plenty of opportunities to raid, especially into some of the less active families. But yeah, getting farmed is the way the world works, sometimes you have to deal with it and try to do the best you can at being annoying and not making worth their time.

something went down... while I was sleeping one night.

pickachu and swagga began to fight, not sure who started it, but swagga lose 3 portals.   and he decalred war on us.

when I awoke, noticing war. I sabbataged, swagga 8-10 closest ports. for protection.

day goes by, we take out swagga spread. and our cammar, portal shared with their bankers.

instead of destroying them, we offer a nap for planets, instead of the heavy loss of planets,

their one banker was keen on  agreeing, to payment.

And I was not specifically talking about any fam, but more the trend of these kind of messages being send more and more often (true that this situation triggered the post - happy to see the new player was not so new after all ).

A small fam shouldn't make someone such an easy target. Small fam with one big player is like a banoffee pie to a big fam.
