Topic: Question about moving your DS

Hi

so say I have HS and System A. If I move my DS to system A from HS, at what point of time does the DS stop protecting HS. Is it the tick that is moving, tick 1, or until it arrives at system A?

Re: Question about moving your DS

While the ds is moving, it's not protecting anything.  On the click that you enter the new cords, it's still protecting you hs.  On the next tick, if you look you'll see that the new coordinates for the ds is empty space.  At that point it's protecting nothing at all.

I think, (not sure), that if your ds moves through a system that you occupy, it will protect that system for the 1 click that it's there.  But that also means that it's vulnerable to attack for that one click.

Re: Question about moving your DS

What does a DS kill 30 percent?

Re: Question about moving your DS

30 % of enemy fleet

Suppose you sent
100 bombers
100 fighs
100 droids
1 transport

If your target has a ds in the system first 30% gets killed. You will finally be attacking with:
70 bomb
70 figh
70 droid
1 transport (probably missing  a rooftop or something)

Re: Question about moving your DS

The ds will kill one third of anything that flies.  It doesn't directly attack ground, but it attacks the trans, and if the tran gets shot down then the ground units are lost.

If you send just 2 trans, then you won't lose any units.   Which means that if your the defender, you should really have enough defense to force the attacker to send more then 2 trans.

Re: Question about moving your DS

Yeah i notices i sent 2 trans and won lost 500 figs or something that was it maybe 3 but only lost figs
