1. Smaller fams to produce more fams (5 memebers)
2. fixed structure  (2 camaar / 1 partaxian / 1 quantam / 1 revalons)
3. Playground style draft - Forum Sign up (To come depending on vote outcome)
4. No market during the first 14 days. (depending on mod options)
5. Smaller map size (50 * 50)
6. Fewer systems (500 Systems)
7. Reduced starting res (10000gc, 400 Iron, 1000 Food, 75 Octarium, 75 Endurium)
8. Round Length 3 months (Partly due to reduced SOR resources)
9. No Allies
10. No Naps
11. No Rules, IAs permitted
12. Attack limits will be adjusted (if possible) to compensate for no allies and IA's


Ok guys/gals, I know we want a democracy, but unfortunately these options are not up for debate. Lets try something new and see how it works. Changes can be made for future attempts.

If you are intrigued or would like to give this a try then vote yes. If you are happy plodding along as is then vote no.

looks like a gal for rogues, you kannot do legal allies but you kan do ilegal allies, you kannot nap so whenever you win a war you'll have to kill them or forze them into your IA party

Not surprised this idea koming from you, definatly, a gal for rogues.

However I'm not against it, it would be fun to see the kaos and the bitzhing after 4 weeks into the round, the fmods would have a lot of job in forums.

IDEA ---> Arrange the damn ally thing and do normal gals like we had when the game was alive, tri-allianzes (yes with fams sized 5 it is possible), limited naps (remember when you kould only nap 10 fams in a gal of 100 ??), and only then you kan allow IAs.

At least Ive been honest DK, anyone reading or posting now has a oint of reference to base a decision. Atleast Ive been honest and offered a straight forward decision to be made.

NO! This game revolves around too few individuals already and personal relationships tend to be more important than family relationships, no need to empower these ppl more!

12. Attack limits will be adjusted (if possible) to compensate for no allies and IA's

YES! Adjust by removing Sentinel tag!

Hey zan bud, we can discuss this more in fam chat. But if you agree to reduced start res then surely you realise that means it takes longer to grow and therefore a longer round is needed?

this game is too dead,

just make some smaller teams with 1 ally

Inexperienced players just get farmed/slaughtered by the "VETS".  Thats why the player base has diminished so much.
The family networth rule was brought in too late, everybody's gone.

- Max family size = 6. 
- Bring in galactic protection earlier.

NOT possible, they dont know how to do it, they are unable to enable allianzes in the game, and the naps are set unlimited for a long time now bekause they dont know how to zhange it.  No devs & unezperienzed mods, maybe you Orbit have what it takes to do it or maybe they wont let you touzh the kode at all.  In any kase this thread goes nowhere.

no attack limits no % nothing.. just allow a 50 mil fam to attack a 50k fam.. who cares.. if a fam with no infra get to many planets it is their fault. In the past we had to be carefull with exploring. If we explored too many planets we knew enemy would take! so..

I mis the reason behind this proposal. What is to be accomplished with these changes?

In my opinion: People that get killed after 2 weeks won't come back after 2 months.I you want to keep people interested they have to feel they have a chance next time. And that next time has to be soon, so they won't run off to another game.

Would be nice to have glaxcy that reaches maximum conflict in 2 weeks and finshes after a certain goal is reached. i.e. first to 200 planets of first to 3 million NW, with a maximum duration of five weeks.

The current proposal would yield in around 9000 (500 systems * 18 a system) planets for lets say 65 active players. On avarage there are 138 planets a person. I think this number should be below 80 or even 50 to have maximum conflict after 2 weeks.

Would be nice if players would get 1 million research points at start of round on construction so portal building time is limited at the beginning of the round.
