lets get allies going again in SN at least. its 1 person families so makes sense i think. BUT, do it this way so the cheap players cant abuse this.

make it so u have to pick ur ally BEFORE round starts, once round starts u cant switch allies unless they have deleted and their is no choice, doing it this way will prevent certain people from dropping others as allies cause they arent as big or whatnot, i think doing this will help some of the smaller players stay safe and help grow better. we all know there r already illegal alliance happening so this way it makes it official. either u do it this way or this game will keep running out of players as im sure the smaller players r tired of being farmed by players that have no skill other than to attack a easy smaller target.

Its maybe worth testing out. There are, just like in the old day, gonna be a couple of insanely strong alliances if we test this.

If we could combine allies with increasing the NW range from 35% to 50% or something, i might work out really well. Cause yeah, IAs are flying all over the place in SN.

tho nobody seems to undertand it, u dont need to inkrease NW range to 50%, you just need to understand & apply my idea.
About the allies, is always a good idea, but why only 1 ?? why not 4? and make teams of 5, like faktions.

However, the new round has been reset and none of this will be applied, sadly.

5 allies are you freakin insane, you really dont see a problem with that? or even with 2-3 allies? So the top alliances will basicly vacuum all non-napped players within 35-50-80% of them for the length of the round tongue

Tho i like your idea about NW range being adjusted as the round progresses, i just dont see how it would be programmed into the game.

i mean, as LordSozzer said, 4 allies pre-set before the round starts and taht you kannot drop during the round, goddamn, even set them randomly before round starts. 
This sounds unbalanzed I know, bkause you kan randomly have 4 allies kompletely inaktive while others have a 5 team aktive and on top.

The way to make it balanzed again is by allowing you to take over your inaktive ally, I mean attak & ezplore even in his homesystem (or kore systems if any, and turn them yours). This would be allowed after 48h of your ally not login in.


About my idea, well I posted the kode to implement it, damn easy.

it wouldnt be random allies..like right now before round starts u go and find an ally, i would think someone around u but it really doesnt matter. after u pick ur ally (which needs to be done before round starts) u cannot drop them unless they delete or go competly inactive (mods discretion) that way people cant drop others cause they arent as good, no one knows how good they r going to be before the round starts so it makes it challenging.

i think this needs to be done, not all allies will work together as well as others which would be key in fights

"mods discretion"  is the flaw in your idea, you kannot rely on mods dezisions in something like this, It would bring kontroversy.  It is easy to set the rules about who's inaktive, and we're talking about 1 man fams here.

There's an auto-delete speezh in the game that deletes an empire authomatikally after 96h (I guess) of not login in.
This speezh is not being applied in supernova, so the way to do it is by modifying it to 48h and applying it, in the way the empire does not autodelete, but his kore systems are turned attakable for his ally.

yah thats good i like that. that way its not really in the mods hand then, if the player doesnt log on for a certain amount of time he gets auto-deleted and then allies can be switched.

switzhed?  how kan you switzh an ally if all are suposedly permanent?  I mean, there wont be any available.
Just allow to attak an ally protekted kore when he goes inaktive, so yea you lose an ally but you get the zhanze to take his 'protekted' planets.
