Topic: So I was picking up a load and saw a Muslim lady set down to pray

And she put her rug down, and started praying due North. Yes North.

Is this some alternate version? or was she really confused... cause Mecca is East by South East of here...

And there is no mistaking it, my TOMTOM shows it is North, the sun is setting to the West and it just confuses me...

I think Muslims pray to the closest direction to Mekka. In northwest USA it really maybe over the North pole or through earth-core if you use the direct line.

In cloudy days, and days where the sun is directly overhead, many muslims will not know direction of mecca.  But that does not mean they will not stop to pray.

I'm shocked and surprised that you were "surprsied" and had to use TOMTOM.

My own cousins out of Oklihoma, don't even know which side of the continentanl united states that the Pacific Ocean is located.  "Where's Oregon?"  It's above California.  "Where's California?"  Well it's near the pacific ocean.  "Oh, that's there on the east coast ain't it...."  No lie.

Like all debates, this is getting out of context.
So red neck einstein found it weird a muslim girl was praying in the wrong direction and was curious why.
Not like he's lynching her.

Last I checked, as long as you don't hurt nobody, don't matter what goes on in your head
