Topic: 40% networth rule at war

"Great Ruler! The rules set by the Galactic Overseers™ prevent us from attacking. The family the ruler of this planet belongs to has a net worth less than 40% of our own family's networth. We are not at war with that empire's family, nor have they done any hostile actions against us within the last 72 hours."

Getting this message when I'm trying to make an attack.  The thing is though, I have declared war on the target!  Networth difference between myself and the target was about 39% (only just outside the 40%), and shouldn't I be allowed to attack down to 25%?

This is in supernova.

(FYI, war was declared 5 ticks ago, so the 2 ticks required have definitely passed)

the attack down to 25% is only if both fams have declared war.

FYI - the new map is buggy about attacking below 40%, you need to use the onld map or the sidebar.

Oh right, that's not what the guide says sad

"Note 2:Only one family needs to declare war to obtain the war advantages. However, it will take two ticks after one family declares war before the advantages become apparent."

I'd best go and find someone my own size to fight then!

if one person declares war then there is a moral advantage.

however to lower the NW limit requires both to declare.

Also, War Declarations do not change the family 40% Networth rule, they only change the 35% personal attack to 25%.

ah true I believe, so in SN, you'll never get under 40% unless they attack first.
