Stricken by the grief of the death of his friend, Taita, Tanus was walking the streets outside the palace in a rage wishing he knew who to take his anger out on for the murder when he heard a familiar voice from within one of the local inn's.  It was the voice of Rasfer, a man he hated and also the man who had taken Taitas' manhood and left him with that pain of being a eunuch till yesterday when poor Taita was murdered in cold blood.

Tanus walked right up to Rasfer who had already had an excessive amount of alcohol and struck him across the side of his head and watched the grotesque Rasfer tumble to the floor.  Rasfer as tough as any man reacted by lunging at Tanus with his knife but barely managed to scrape the right thigh of Tanus before Tanus dealt another fist to the chin of Rasfer.  While he was on the ground, Tanus stomped on his chest breaking multiple ribs at once and leaving him immobile with all the pain he was suffering.  This satisfied Tanus' anger for the death of Taita by getting revenge on one of the men that made Taitas' life miserable and he walked out of the Inn when he heard a ghastly scream from inside.

The citizens who lived life in fear and pain from the butcher Rasfer had taken the opportunity after the fight with Tanus to slit his throat.  Ending the Tortorous reign of the man who had done the evil bidding of Lord Intef for years, Rasfer(Genesis).

Lord Intef was getting impatient.  He needed to finish off the work that he started and it was soon time to bring everything into culmination.  Tonight, he had to set aside his larger objective and deal with this pestilence that was in from Ethiopia.  He hard learned about Arkoun and thought he would go and do the job himself. 

After tracking their movements, Lord Intef found an opportunity where Arkoun was walking alone.  He slipped behind a tent and grabbed him. Lord Intef was suprised at how easily he managed to overpower him and drag him behind.  Arkoun was not carrying his infamous sword and Lord Intef figured he got him on his downtime.  He knocked out Arkoun and then slit his throat.  Upon inspection of the body, Lord Intef started to doubt if this really was Arkoun himself...

At exactly the same time, Arkoun, had another mission.  Upon the satisfaction of slaying a god the previous night, he thirsted for it again.  This time, he was wondering if he could outsmart Apep himself.  That would make two gods in a row.  Once again he set the same bait (he was curious to see if he can fool a God, in the same fashion) by maiming one of his own.  Arkoun instilled fear into his own men this way, and sacrificing one of their own for killing a God.

EvilRunt took the bait.  He cared not that Seth had fallen like this.  Perhaps if there was a weakness of these Gods of Chaos, Death and Destruction, it was that they were too arrogant.  This worked against EvilRunt.  He moved slowly towards the bait and thought of all the things he could inflict.

As soon as he approached, Arkoun slid his magnificent sword right through EvilRunt.  Once again the sword created an incandenscent blue flame, engulfing the God and consuming him.

Arkoun smirked with distaste.  "Two Gods in two nights.  Not even a challenge.  Soon, I shall have culled this place and reign supreme - as ordained."
