Topic: Stop killing players trying to learn

how about the above title as an idea

WTF - great game we have here - kill off those that are trying to learn - wow good way to attract more players

This game is gonna go far

Whatever will get flamed by all the IC loverboys/gals

Cheers All, I guess this game is just for those that have been around for a while

Nope. But a new player just needs to communicate to learn and be accepted. If you post in the forum and send a leader a message it will be a good sign.

very sad to see this is happening. i myself take pride in helping new people, tis a shame this is happening. as mace said, if you let people know you are new and willing to learn they should help you with what you need!

Yeah it is. I happen to not mind it. Unless I get mindless runts.
Who idle for ever. Don't respond to messages and virtually doesn't change a decimal of net worth.... Then the inactive mark shows up! That's when I usually let the dogs loose... big_smile

One life to live in is all that a person needs. When traveling down a road looking for the ascension to greater things, all that really matters is the way you got to the end, when you reach your final destination did you help or hurt more?

its sad, and notize this must be 10% of the new players who leave the game, the other 90% dont even bother in doing a post here.
So it's a major issue, we talked about a new Virgo, but while the new Virgo is not possible I guess newbies would need a "how to get started" tutorial like in every other game, and get a spezial follow up by the mods, so they arent instantly killed.

There was a tutorial in the works and think it may have already been implemented for new registrations, but ill have to double check smile

Edit: Yup new tutorial was added a while ago, all new players have to go through it etc

this situation is the same with every mmopg game ever.  the only solution is to start people off against AI in an active game setting.  PS and myself are about 95% done right now with creating the AI bots to play.  we just need support from the mods to launch our experiment
