Topic: Orion Market

Please may we have market enabled for this round so we can have some TRUE SS play?

As in True SS i mean, you can actually be a true Resser SS like the old times sad

rather then having to mix up with CFs

well SS = Self Sufficient
so no market makes a true SSer tongue

It is something we could consider if the majority wanted it, but would probably be better to run without this round as people may have already spent time and resources planning and pre-building etc

Wrong, a true SS player from old times never did make CF and MF for the whole round, you would go one or the other and use the market and trade. Most started CF to get income and then focus on MF and use market for income for the round. Some started with Food/mf/rf others started just mf/rf and rolled it out that way.

SS these days is a mixed bag of making everything, its not efficient usage of space for a SS player.

a) It is efficient.
b) That's because there were a LOT more people in galaxies and you could make trades a LOT more quickly.

No market makes the most sense.  Cheaters [personal attack] would just use it to illegally market aid with others.  The other option is the set market that was attempted int he past but it was too buggy and often ruined the rounds with it's bugs.

i agree a fixed market would be a better option, but would need to be worked on as you say the last attempt didnt quite work lol
