I don't see what is so funny about telling people that you plan to break rules.  That kind of behavior is childish and negative: it should be punished.

Anyway, your colors actually didn't bother me so much.  It was the mass italicizing.  That is ridiculously unnecessary and not at all what the feature is for.  Italics are meant for emphasis, there's no need to emphasize an entire post's content.  That defeats the purpose of emphasis after all.

Here's the thing: As a developer, I don't answer to you.  You are in no position to tell me how to handle accessibility to the features that I spent time implementing.

Could I have asked you to not used italics?  Absolutely.  Unfortunately, based on your past behavior I can't trust that you would do so without throwing yet another temper tantrum.  Not only that, but I shouldn't have to ask for permission to edit a post that is a clear abuse of a feature.  I don't need anybody's permission to do that.  I didn't edit the content of your post, I simply removed formatting that was not necessary.

Your idea was a bad one.  Sorry, I normally prefer not to discourage people from contributing but because you are failing to see what happened I have to point out that your idea simply was not good.  We have a few ideas already in place to solve what you were trying to solve.  While I appreciated (and still do appreciate) your attempt to improve things, the thread in question was no longer productive because 1) you yourself failed to understand why you were being a problem and 2) the idea wasn't worth discussing.

You seem to think things are a joke.  You keep talking about how funny you think I am, and laugh at our decisions regarding the rules.  Laugh all you want, but your recent behavior has put you very close to being banned from these forums.

Take a step back, take a breath, and come back as a mature adult.  It isn't so hard.

I have no interest in being in the "in" crowd, whatever that actually is.

My interest is in turning a failing game into a successful one.  Part of that means evaluating the problems with the community which includes forum usage.  You are breaking forum rules and abusing features, and you've repeatedly gone off about how you will "come out swinging" in response to being punished.  Let me remind you:

Do you think this is acceptable?  I don't personally think this is good for the community.  I have enough work to do (on my free time, mind you) to also be dealing with childish behavior.  You claim you are joking or that this is part of your forum persona.  I honestly don't care.  What you are doing is not good for the forum community and unfortunately because I can't outright ban you (although you keep calling me a dictator/fascist/nazi/etc) what I can do is propose changes to the rules which accomodate people who act like children.

There are no lies.  You've whined and moaned about me being a fascist, dictator, abusing power, and even said "sieg heil".

You know what the worst part of all of this is?  I requested the addition of this feedback forum specifically so that players could talk about problems with anything in the game including the rules and their handling.  I was met with a bit of resistance but I insisted that this was important.  This was done in the spirit of transparency and giving players more voice.  That was my idea by the the way, the one you are calling a dictator and accusing of power abuse.

How unfortunate that instead of addressing your concerns like a mature adult, you are choosing to act like a child.  You have an opportunity here to speak about the things you do not like in a productive manner and potentially even change things.

Instead you are wasting it on stuff like "I was having fun", "any more lies", and "I find you funny now".

You are proving yourself unworthy of the opportunity you are being given.  You are making a great case for just punishing players without them having any recourse or voice.  Think about that the next time you call me a nazi.

Also, if you don't see anything wrong with the IRC transcript I posted, then there is no point in continuing this discussion.
