There are some new rules out regarding the loss of Tag Points. However you will be able to earn them much easier. Following is the guideline when it comes to deducting Tag Points. Please read them and use caution when thinking about using a banned word, racial slur, etc.

BUGS
Posting a bug that is verfied to exist.
Helping with clarifying a bug or testing
Helpful answer if someone posts a bug but it's more of a game function or misunderstanding.

IDEAS
Any idea that benefits the game or possible could down the road.
An idea that is implemented ingame +1
Any helpful posts that pick apart an idea or add to it.

QUESTIONS
Any answer that answers the question
A well thought out answer that is more strategy inclined

FEEDBACK
Any valuable post that shows insight and creates resultant discussion

POLITICS
Any posts that insight a helpful debate.

GENERAL
Any posts that might benefit the players with a good post about any topics not covered by everything else.

STRATEGY
An original strategy with well defined ideas
Any post that helps another strategy or builds on it's idea

UNIVERSAL NEWS
A well thought out PvC
Any generally helpful Universal Type News event.

COMMUNITY
Any good post that would bring a benefit to the IC players. i.e. information about individuals that the IC community may want to know.

HISTORY
Any good post that enhances the the players knowledge of the game from old.
A well thought out detail history of something maybe

MISC
Any tools or websites that are helpful to players. I.E. Fleet Boss

POINT DEDUCTION
Violation of forum rules (usually resulting in Closed Thread). -1
Swear word violation -1 for each violation within a post, to a maximum deduction of -5.  Maximum will result in an Official Warning.
Temporary forum ban. -5
Second temporary forum ban is a loss of all forum tags.
