Topic: Sidebar Extension / Ally Tools

If you have at least 1 ally, you may have noticed a new section beneath the sidebar that says "Your Allies".  If not, log out and log in again and it should be there.

These are really just convenience links to things you could already access before, though it would take a few clicks to do so.  Now they are 1 click away from any page in the game.  Hopefully this will facilitate communication within alliances.

The larger change is the addition of this "secondary" sidebar itself.  While we probably don't want to squeeze too much stuff into that section, it wouldn't hurt to discuss useful things that might do well there.

You can now disable the new secondary sidebar via the preferences page on your master account.  The checkbox is called "Hide Sidebar Extension".

Some users have reported scrollbars appearing because of the recent addition.  This is the result of the content within the sidebar frame being longer than the browser window.  Unfortunately some browsers (like firefox) do not allow websites to hide the scrollbars from appearing to their users when triggered by this scenario in particular.

We plan to eventually move away from frames-based navigation, which will resolve this issue entirely.  Until then though, you can disable this new sidebar section entirely or alternatively give another browser (like chrome) a chance.
