A slight but hopefully useful addition: forum polls!

I'm actually adding this as a troubleshooting/bug-hunting aid, so that players can quickly express whether or not they are being affected by a particular bug.

However, it's been something we've wanted to add in for awhile anyway.  It just so happens that the recent forum upgrade enables us the ability to add these kinds of additions with far more ease than before.

Anyway, using this is easy enough: it's an option available to everybody when they create new threads.  Some examples of its usefulness:

Family Voting: BOR ally options, NAP proposals, targets, etc
Ideas: support/oppose new ideas
Contests: this enables us to hold contests of various sorts and vote on participant entries
Community Feedback: allows us to gauge the reaction of various announcements (such as this one)

...and other uses I'm sure.
