Most likely this has been suggested before, but here goes:

The current quoting option is useful, although the result is not clear enough for me.
For instance, this is how it appears when you quote a somewhat longer text:

I think it's not clear enough where the quote ends and the response begins.
For me, it seems useful to add a box around the quote, perhaps make the background light grey so it is obvious where the quote ends and starts. Something along the lines of:

http://awesomescreenshot.com/0f5z97b77    (so makes edges thinner and make background slightly grey)


SO, flame away for reposting it, but in this wonderful new forum it would surely fit in imo wink

^ what you stated above as well as the \[quote\] thing demonstrated used to work for mods and fmods.  the plan was to get it working for everybody.  i'll add this to my list, it would be a great improvement

Looks like bbcode was disabled.  Can a non-mod user try the quote feature now and see what happens?

not to ruin ur day pie:P but it dosent seam like it work with the other forum mod. It works. But its just a big white screen. You have mark the box to se the text. Dont know if thats a problem or not.

That's likely due to browser cache.  I had to adjust that white background to be something more reasonable, but peoples' browsers might still have the old css file in their cache.  Clearing that should fix it, but let me know if that's not the case.
