I've set up an infobox on the ic-wiki for families.  What this means, is that instead of having to learn complex wiki markup to do interesting things you can now instead do this:

I've recently added some pre-round basics for my own family, so feel free to use it as an example.  In particular, the pre-round news is great to analyze the formation of your family.  It may seem pretty trivial now but down the road it will be cool to be able to look back on what exactly happened before round starts.

Oh, yeah definitely.  You can make anything clickable by surround it with [[]].  For example

On any player page, just add [[Category:Players]] to the bottom of their page.

Glad to have you editing smile  Lots of tagpoints aside, it's just cool to have people helping keep a documented history of the game.

As for players not having pages, it's because they need to be set up manually for each person.  These player pages aren't actually tied to game accounts in any way so even Stefan and Mastermike didn't exist until somebody made a page fro them.

The syntax is a little tricky at first, but it's not too crazy once you get the hang of things.  We definitely need some kind of editing guide though.

I'd second that guide, seeing I'm totally new to 'wikis' big_smile

The only thing I know about is the most useless part: 'wiki' is Hawaiian for 'quick' tongue

Well I think the wikis would add an extra dimension to playing the game.
Although I am somewhat late with joining in cos this game is now somewhat abandoned :'(

What if you got a second welcoming message in your inbox when joining a galaxy? It would state that either they can edit their own userpage or can send their basic info to you, so you can make it?

I just feel the wiki is missing a LOT of people at the moment smile
