Also, it would be nice to have the option on the station fleets page. For example when you realize you are being fig run and try to station your figs and while you are trying to station you are being hit and are given the result "You do not have x-amount of fighters." The option button could read "All Available"
This is a good idea, possibly.
My only concern is, we seem to be 'dumbing down' the game so much. Essentially reducing the skill cap. I mean, anyone can be called a good attacker these days, it's a bit silly. Before, it meant a lot to be able to 'handle figs', or be competent with fleet.
Imo, everyone should be enabled to do things in IC to a certain extent fairly easily. However, there should still be room for exceptional (both skill and experience wise) ppl to excel as well.
Not sure what others' take on this is.
Also, I comment as a player - not as a dev.
Torqez, I agree with you 150%. I was just shooting an idea that would improve the ease of access for those playing on their phones.
I like being manic about stationing figs just as they are built.

I don't see what clicking use all and typing in 15999 into the fighters field differentiates skill wise.
THe thing is its only bombers figs trans sold droids - 5 things. so why do you need a toggle button for each.
What I would like is to be able to enter mass co-ords and choose a pre defined number of units to be sent.
For example - I have 55 fleets I need to take off my attacker - I put those co-ords in an entry. Following the entry I have the normal select fleets. I do it once it goes to 55 planets.
same thing for raiding. Spending 2 hours sending raid fleets is pointless, I don't even help retake or take planets in wars because It takes to much time to do.

Than you're a bad, lazy player
If you don't retake, then you'll lose the war. That's the point of not having it. Wars are decided by activity and effort more than skill or savings.
rarely do people "send all" of 1 specific unit unless its figs or bombers. this doesn't reduce the attackers ability in any way.
this idea is good no matter what you say about suposed skills in losing 1 hour of your life sending raid fleets ...
but if you want to make things right definatly, it requires a lot of job
it requires buttons in any unit type, buttons for: 1 unit, 10 units, 100 units, 1k units, 10k units, 100k units
and you would click this buttons to add units to your attaking fleet, and you always keep the option to input the numbers (like we do now). Even with this 'improved' way to select your attaking fleet, you gotta need a "send all" button of each type, appart from the "send everything".
So the idea is good, tho not complete. The complete idea is what the amazing Render is telling you all.
A.E -> to send basic fleets (1 transport 2 droisd) you need only 2 tics in the droids' button (because transports should be settled at 1 by default, learn that!). In this case of typical fleet type, there should be enabled a button called "basic fleet" and then a popup bozz to input coords, so banker's life can be easy when they're taking a lot of planets from an infra jump. Also these basic fleets would be allowed only for soldiers, if you wanted to send droids you'd have to do it manually.
A.E -> the number of transports goes authomathically attached to the number of ground you added, so if you click the button of 100k droids, then the number of transports is authomatically set at 1000, you can modify it by typing in the bozz or add more transports using their belonging buttons for transports. The stupid message "you need more transports to send that amount of ground!" will never ever again be of any need (I hate it"!) so the game can finally act like a game's suposed and not laugh at your intelligence anymore ![]()
A.E -> for a fig run now you just have to click the "send all" button belonging to figs unit type (1 click instead of selecting everything and then deleting the others)
I only see good things using the buttons system, now bow at me, all of you!!
it is not really that complicated, you just need 1 table with the buttons, and its used for all the unit types, you just have to select which unit by using the TAB key or by clicking the unit' bozz with ur mouse.
It's hard to draw a good idea just writing it, I'd wish I could draw a fast image of what's in my mind and you'd see I'm not complicating it ![]()
