When I try to send an ingame message to Hells March (#6935), it comes up with a white screen with the following error text:


"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /sendmessage.php on this server.
Apache/2.2.16 (Debian) Server at www.imperialconflict.com Port 80"


I've tried msging other members in the family, and those msgs seem to be getting through.

Funnily, I did manage to send a msg to Hells March about 5 mins before I tried to send the msg which is causing the problems.


If any further info is required, just let me know what you need!

additional info:

I got the same error msg when trying to make a post just now.
It seems the length of the msg or post brings on the error msg

No, I'll take that back...I just tried to send a one line msg to somebody else. That didn't work either.

I did some testing on this bug.

I found that a plist of 90 planets could pass easily through, however a long text message could not pass through.

A shortened message was able to get through without issues. However it could be length, or a banned word.

Ergo the problem is a limit on some letters or a hidden banned word

I have the same error message from my work computer. I will be interested to know what the fix or loophole will be. I don't know what I would do at work if I couldn't log on to IC.

I do not know what you has changed, but I now have access at work. Yeah!!

*Edit*

I found the loop hole. If I log on with my phone (which is a permitted IP address) then goto imperialconflict.com I then do not have to "log in" from my work computer. So, It just won't allow me to initially log in from my work computer.
