has probably been suggested so please do not shoot me down.

i would not mind a brief email advising of round in x galaxy starting in 5 days or something.

many times i have wanted to play and missed bor by a few days and not bothered.

people that dont want the email can block them... or unsubscribe? I don't know.

a lot of other games do it and it doesn't bother me too much, I don't consider it spam. As long as it is just once/twice every 3 months or so.

Hi Jas!

It has been suggested before, but thanks for bringing it up again.

In a nutshell, the first thing that needs to happen before we can consider a more robust email program is auditing our current optin process as to keep us out of legal trouble, but more importantly so we can give our players control over the level of communication they receive.  This is more than a trivial undertaking, but it is on our list.

In the interim, for round updates (and other news) our official Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Imperial-Conflict/402423769817002) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/IC_Game) pages are both being used as a means to push such information to our players.
