this is a very valid point.  irc is quick but not a good official way to conduct business.  there's no central record of the communication, and mods aren't always around.

this is something that's bothered me for awhile but we've yet to come up with a proper solution.  something is being worked on though, it's just a matter of ironing a few things out.

as for an email, yes we do have existing staff emails but it's difficult to keep people accountable for checking them.  the ideal solution would be something that can exist within the existing interface.  hopefully we can have something ready soon

I'm having this issue as well. My college internet blocks the ports necessary to join an ic chat...

What is Mibbit and could someone explain how to use it?
