Staten Island is a disaster zone. There is dumpster diving for food, looting, tens of thousands without power, hundreds to thousands suddenly without homes.

New York City has police and emergency generators for Staten Islands Marathon but not for the needy.


That's right... a marathon.


Mayor Ray Nagan move over the newest worst mayor in a disaster is mayor Bloomberg!

His city had a superfund site spill into residential area's, there is massive electrical outages. Two hospitals were evacuated, damages are wholly insane... the list goes on.


And Bloomberg was a public marathon that will require blocked off roads, limited access, use valuable police, use even more valuable emergency generators.



And this is a liberal super star! Ha!

In his defense... that's a pretty badass marathon!  Twenty-six miles of running through a disaster-stricken city... it's like they're reenacting a zombie apocalypse scene!

they need the revenue from the marathon (or hope to get it rather) to make up for the roughly $200 million a day they are losing because of the hurricane probably

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Atleast some of those runners volunteered to help the reconstruction in Newark. Make themselves usefull and they can get rid of their frustration in a positive manner.
