Re: Starving and OH

Simple question: Starving and OH, do they "stack"?

Re: Starving and OH

Octarine Hurricane: Casting this op creates magical turbulent weather at the targetted empire. This effects 20% of income produced from Cash Factories, and lasts for the duration of 6 weeks. This op works multiplicatively and has a stacking limit of 3 OH on the targetted empire (irrespective of the opper).
Shows up in the enemies recent reports when succeeding.

No idea about starving tho or what you mean by that exactly.

Re: Starving and OH

Thanks for your reply, but that's not what I meant. I'll clarify a bit further:

Assume I get 3 OH, reducing my income from CF's by 60%. This leaves me short on cash (clearly.).

Now assume I need to buy food to keep my population happy...
What I want to know is: if I let my people starve, will this reduce my income by an additional 50%, or does only the biggest income reducing factor (being OH) apply?

Simply put:

3 OH + starving -> GrossIncome = 1/2*(PopIncome + 4/10*(CfIncome))  OR GrossIncome = 1/2 * PopIncome + 4/10 * CfIncome

I'm guessing it's the first, but I'd like to make sure.

Re: Starving and OH

If you are starving, regardless of the ops, your income will be reduced by half just like it says it will.

Re: Starving and OH

As above, I beileve it's half of your income, so if your experiencing -60% due to ops, starving will be half of the remaining income

Re: Starving and OH

Yes. Starving is the last modifier. So whatever income is left after potential ops, that is divided by two.
