Re: Attackers scoring system

Reading the pw eor awards was like watching steroided males compareing muscle sizes. Which gave me an idea. As a attacker in a 3 man low ranked fam last round i still managed to get a banker 650 planets + and my family pretty fat.....and  knew all along I probably took more planets than all the showoffs in that thread even with house moves and holidays  tongue hehe

So.....Why not have a scoring system where you see the amount of planets a player has taken that round and maybe day/ic year and so forth. Also have a loser count. Poor raided bankers wink

Could even incorporate largest incomes but may be like painting a target on them haha.

It would give attackers more to prove and something to aim and play for and may finally get the game back to imperial CONFLICT and not imperial infrastructure smile

Re: Attackers scoring system

That's actually doable, but are the players who need to organize it, each leader using silenz.org post his fam numbers in a special thread every IC year  (in the galactic congress people used to compare these things, so it was easier to know what was going on in the round, and which attackers were more active)

I dont think mods are up to do this, neither devs to calculate it authomatically, so it is a community job

Re: Attackers scoring system

Don't quantify it. The uncertainty and difficulty of defining who the best attacker is what keeps it debatable and interesting. If everyone knows their ranks exactly, it will take the fun and mystery out of it. Forum banter, debates and ego contests are healthy; even though they do tend to go in the childish direction at times tongue

Re: Attackers scoring system

The whole fam stats page needs to be updated.  New ways to compare each family, including attacks,  its so stupid and pointless to have to use silenz to calculate fam news, it should be done ingame.

This can include

- attacks compared with fam members and other fams
- growth
- economy
- some ratios
- exploration

all sorts,  this could make the game more tactically interesting and increase competition.
