That's the message he is giving Democrats running for office right now.

In times past the Democrat Convention was a way to network, meet big donors, get name recognition, and get noticed.

Now Rep. Israel, the man in charge of trying to get Democrats the most House Seats he can, is saying "do not attend the convention, but instead work your districts".

A more astonishing statement as can be said indeed. Essentially he is conceding that being near Barack is being dragged down with Barack. Even in Carter's time this was never done or said and this represents just how toxic Barack Obama is to Democrat candidates and incumbants around the nation.

If you had hopes of Barack leading a comeback... drop those dreams now... Game Over man, it's all over!

In terms some players can understand: Barack was found to be carrying skunk flu (which he is partially immune to) which is contagious and makes you smell horrible for life, so even his party is saying "gtfo of anywhere Obama goes".
