Re: The Tea Party strikes again!

In Tulsa Oklahoma we just removed a 10 year incumbant who had voted for bailouts, the debt ceiling increases and for government takeovers.

The Tea Party is still here, we still are fighting, we are still removing Establishment Republicans and installing our Republicans.

Where is OWS? What seats have they cost Democrats or Republicans?

Expect us. We are legion. We will be making the laws!

You are thinking of the Liberatarian party.

The Tea Party has done a great job of reminding the republican party of what the people want.

Re: The Tea Party strikes again!

In reference to your first post TBO:

The Tea Party crosses party lines and is more a movement than a wing of a Political Party and is for sure not a Political Party in their own right.

There are Democrats, Republicans, Conservatives, Constitutionalists, and Libertarians as part of the Tea Party.

Other parties which lose a lot exist including: Greens, Libertarians, Socialists, Communists, Constitutionalists, Conservatives (Conservatives is a mindset and there is a party with the name), the American Party, and several dozen even less influential parties (like Oregon's independent party).

I am a Conservative Tea Party member of the Republican Party.

Kemp may, or may not, identify as a Libertarian Tea Party member of the Republican Party.

Chris is a Conservative member of the pissed off and not voting group.

Re: The Tea Party strikes again!

Teddy Roosevelt was elected president under a party that wasn't democratic or republican, what party was that

" it may or may not be Teddy but it was 1 of the better presidents that did this."

Re: The Tea Party strikes again!

And he didn't actually win the election.  Roosevelt originally tried to run under the Republican ticket, but lost at the primary to Taft, so he ditched the Republicans and formed the Bull Moose party.  They both lost to Woodrow Wilson in the general.  tongue
